Held a company event at the hotel and from start to finish, the experience was seamless and the level of service provided was truly excellent.

The event space itself was perfectly suited to our needs - spacious, modern and well-equipped with everything we needed to conduct productive meetings and presentations. The hotel staff went above and beyond to ensure that all our needs were met, and in a very timely and efficient manner. They were always available to answer our questions and help us with a smile.

I would highly recommend this hotel venue for any corporate event, conference or business travel. You will not be disappointed by the level of service, professionalism and attention to detail provided by the staff. Thank you again for a wonderful experience!

Excellent location, plenty to see and do around the area. Staffs are very courteous and polite. The hotel are in perfect modern design . Thank you sofitel for our wonderful stay. Especially to Elaine in kids club shes very friendly and approachable person. In every situation. We had amazing experience in this hotel

We stayed at Sofitel for 3nights for our anniversary. This was our second time. Very friendly staffs like Thandar, Ei, Sithu and May (Breakfast restaurant). Thank you so much for your hospitality. The location is also fabulous. Thanks for the housekeeping team for very beautiful bed and room service team for the amenities.

Excellent location, plenty to see and do around the area. The Dubai Mall is literally right next door. The staff were friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Prema at the front desk for checking us in at 2:00 a.m. and giving us plenty of advice, also May took care of us during breakfast and made us feel right at home. Steven who brought up our bags took the time to show us all the features of the room.
The employees are definitely your most valuable asset...

The hotel staff are really wonderful helpful and attentive to all queries. I’ve been all over the world and I can say with utmost conviction that the service I received at this hotel was exceptional. The manager Mr Mahdi is a great man. I travelled with my wife and my 6 month baby girl. I had a slight hiccup with the baby crib in my room. However, Mr Mahdi personally went so far out of his way to make it up to myself and my family, I would recommend Mr Mahdi’s hotel to one and all. Many many thanks to all the wonderful staff and Mr Mahdi for a truly memorable experience. I look forward to visiting again.

Stayed here for a Business event, needing a room where I could also run a virtual learning workshop, and the Sofitel Dubai Downtown was absolutely fantastic!

Beautiful room with a view, great rates, fabulous staff who were so incredibly helpful in addressing and surpassing all my needs. And in my downtime, wonderful places to relax and recharge.

I love this hotel, in its perfect location, within walking distance of the Dubai Mall, and now - given the choice - won't stay anywhere else.

Thank you so much everyone at the Sofitel Dubai Downtown - I'll be back!

The location is awesome. Not a very far walk to the mall and plenty of things to do. Robert at the pool was very attentive. On hot days (everyday) the pool is the best place to relax and unwind. The entire staff is very helpful and kind. 10/10 always enjoy my stay here

BAD

- No dedicated club lounge.
usually a 5 star hotel club lounge quite place for guests paying extra to relax outside the room. These club lounges are usually a great place to work or relax without noise. Usually they are on the top floor.

However this hotel does not have a club lounge instead it offers access to a cafe on the 3rd floor. The cafe is noisy and does not serve the purpose of a Club Lounge. In most club lounges you'll have self serve bar to soft drinks snacks outside of afternoon tea/ canapés. This one you need to ask a staff member for everything.

If you want a hotel with a proper club lounge to work/relax look elsewhere
