Very dark, definitely bring a torch
Went though on bike but you will need good lights if you want to cycle through.

A nice gentle walk. Very pretty and picturesque.

Take a torch when you’re in the tunnel as it’s relatively flat but there’s a few rocks and logs occasionally.

It gets wet halfway through where the vent tube is as the groundwater weeps through.

Definitely a good walk at night if you like the spooky stuff.

Great walk but can get busy. Tunnel is uneven underfoot and usually had puddles all year round. Path is share between walkers and cyclists. Good to take a torch with you and note the tunnel always feels cold.

It’s a great walk not too far from the car park to the main attraction! It’s longer and darker than you initially think it’s going to be. Great for echoing sound recordings and spooky videos. We camped in the car park in our van a really nice peaceful evening.

What a great hidden gem! Lovely walk and the children found the tunnel fascinating! Take a torch!

Really enjoyable place to go for a walk, the tunnel is very dark so if you do go inside, take a torch. Car park at Kelmarsh.
