All ready made food with Indian spices unfortunately, when I ask is it spicy or no, they always say little bit, but in the end I end up with pain in my stomach. They need to consider it that in JLT area also work different nationalities.

Spinneys JLT Dubai - Room for Improvement

During my recent visit to Spinneys JLT Dubai, I found that the food offerings were quite repetitive, with the same rice, dal, chicken biryani, and paneer curry available. However, I noticed that the paneer and chicken curries had an excessive amount of added color, which may be a concern for some customers.

One aspect that left me disappointed was the pricing. I found it to be unreasonably high, especially considering the quality and variety of the food offered. Additionally, I had an experience where I purchased an Australian brand energy biscuit, which initially came in a box of five for 5 AED. However, after two weeks, the price increased to 5 AED for just one piece, which seemed excessive.

I believe that Spinneys JLT Dubai could benefit from making some changes in both their food options and pricing. Introducing more variety in their menu and ensuring that the curries are prepared using natural ingredients rather than excessive color additives would greatly enhance the dining experience.

Furthermore, adjusting their pricing to a more reasonable level would make their offerings more accessible and appealing to a wider range of customers. Transparency and consistency in pricing are essential for maintaining customer satisfaction.

Overall, while Spinneys JLT Dubai offers convenience and a range of food options, there is room for improvement in terms of food variety, quality, and pricing. Making these changes would ensure a more enjoyable and value-for-money experience for customers.

Nice and convenient.
The two ladies that worked there were super nice.
A bit small but it's a convenience store after all so I can't complain.

Products are somewhat limited especially for those from US or Canada as they seem to carry brands more common in the U.K. It’s a decent option for grabbing what you need in a pinch if you are staying close by, but pricey and does not have too many option aside from basics.

Update- I come here quite often and had an unpleasant interaction with a worker here as I’m pretty sure she didn’t bag some burger patties since I got home and they were just nowhere to be found. I went back to the store and waited forever while they checked the cctv footage. Employees just ignore you and are unhelpful. Did not admit to their mistake. We shop here all the time for convenience but will be minimizing future time here.

One of the female cashiers has a constant grimace and unsmiling expression on her face lol, not nice for work that requires her to interact with customers.

Who is the purchasing manager for this store? Get a grip.... this store is supposed to cater for UK & Irish ex Pat's.... no tinned peas? No clonakilty sausages, no decent bread, no cooked chickens, no long grain rice.... Kehoes crisps only when asked.... GET A GRIP.
