Food and drinks are always good. Ambiance would be better if they will increase the aircon ???? because of the hot weather now, it will make the customers enjoy their drink and food if better conditioning will be added. This is based only on my latest visit to the store.

Staffs are approachable and kind.

The AC is still not working even after 1 year, it's been broken for the whole year and they didn't do anything about it, it's way too hot inside especially in summer time don't got there.

It was like you were spending time in someone's home. This coffee shop has such a laid-back peaceful atmosphere....The service is great and the people that work here are so friendly.. Carolyne, Fatima, Gina and all other staffs working in shifts are amazing.

the wrost Starbucks i ever had. Every time they massed up my drinks. They don’t know how to make drinks. They should change there employees. Specificly 2 Philippine girls .

The quality of the food was of a high standard. The speed of the service was quick and efficient. Staff were friendly and made sure that the food was good. They put the air-conditioning on. The prices were very reasonable for fish and chips. A good choice of menu.

Found this restaurant by way of a recommendation from a member of the public in the near by car park: Shorefield Road.

Good value for money, although a large coke (pint) is £4. I was told that it’s charged as two x 1/2 pint?

I opted for cod and chips with mushy peas; all-in £9.95. Good value.

Tartar sauce is via multiple sachets but wanted homemade. I made a mess, sorry!

Cod was piping hot and the mushy peas was good but on the small portion size. Chips were warm and slightly underdone.

Service was ok and had to ask for the bill four times.

Otherwise a good experience and away from the hustle and bustle of nearby seafront eateries.

If I had more space I would have opted for the cherry pie and iced cream which looked delicious.

A little manic, the tables are very close together however that’s what you get when somewhere is as popular as The olive tree is. The food was lovely, the staff were lovely and it’s a perfect little restaurant for a before the show meal. Would definitely go there again !

This is my local chippy and I go pretty regularly. 9 times in 10 they are excellent, quick and efficient even when I turn up at odd times, the food is good and the staff are fine. However, once in a while they do have an off day.

Very disappointed with the olive tree restaurant. We hadn't been there for quite a few years & couldn't believe how mu h it has increased the prices. They used to ha e different sizes of fish dishes, but now it's one standard price which is far too much. Would not go to this restaurant again.

After reading good reviews we decided to pop in before a show last night, we were disappointed not sure where these reviews are based on but pretty sure it can’t be here, calamari looked like Tesco frozen bag that had been fried about 10 times batter was thick and dark and had gone beyond crispy being on the seafront you expect fresh seafood really and this was clearly not fresh it everything tasted like it had been fried in old oil and had that dark look to it, cod was ok but there was no consistency in sizes coming out felt mine was particularly small compared to tables around us but there was no size option on the menu to account for this, chips were less than impressive but edible, gherkin and mushy peas were nice. Staff were really friendly and service was quick which was good as we planned to see a show after and didn’t have much time. Overall was disappointed left that greasy oil taste in your mouth afterwards. Wouldn’t visit again
