Small food portion
Clean food but the taste is not that strong and it is just normal

Just came out of here. There were only 3 tables occupied at the restaurant. Despite that it was serviced by one waiter only for the whole restaurant, and he immediately stated that he's new there. He proved it too. Everything was slow. We had to wait 15 mins from when we asked for the bill to when we actually got to see it. The food was mostly subpar. Having grown up on this good I know what it should taste like. The Russian salad was swimming in mayo. The cutlets were too thick. The golubtsi too dry due to being overcooked. The veal pelmeni were great but one of us had to go to another table with salt and pepper on it and bring it back to add to the pelmeni because our table didn't have salt and pepper, and we couldn't grab the waiter's attention for 5 minutes despite the restaurant being virtually empty as stated earlier. The only reason this review is not one star is because the mashed potatoes that came with the cutlets and selyodka (herring) were great. So was the kompot (which the waiter took before I finished it without asking me). Conclusion: first and last time eating there. Hope the management pays attention, otherwise the restaurant won't last.

During my three visists all was fine.The borsch was quite tasty so was their mash and the coated herring.Their rassolnik was really great.It tastes like a mix of rassolnik itself and a kharcho soup for they add some tomatoe paste to it but it tastes like a homemade one.Well done!But the beef cutlets though of huge size were not succulent enough.The portions are big so everyrime I d hardly finish it all.The take away was organised in a timely manner.
