Value for money, that's what I would say about the buffet at Swagat. The spread was nice and some of the dishes were excellent and good and some were just ordinary. Grilled prawn, beef curry, mutton rogangosh, paratta, tandoori chicken were the best ones. Salad station was good. Grilled beef was chewy as it was overcooked, desserts were ok but the brownie was hard, chocolate cake was ordinary. Service was good from the team.

Very very poor service. Half the time staff were chatting among themselves. The restaurant is literally empty, yet took ages to bring food. No one cares of even handing the menu after walking into restaurant and wait for 10 minutes. Simply useless service

Swgat restaurant is located inside avano hotel. Its such a spacious with good vibe resturant. I tried their dinner buffet . It was nice and delicious. The live grill section was amazing especially the grilled prawns were superb. Desserts were also yumm and lipsmaking.

Regular Lunch option not available ???? on working days ???? during Ramadan fasting month.

Tried Biriyani ???? Not worth for the cost they are charging.AED -28 for a biriyani which is below average is too much.Hope they will relook into the costing.

The ifthar meet at swagath was a mind blowing experience. Tasty and yummy food served professionally. Enjoyed it

Unfortunately the expectations are not meet the lines...
First of all.. the music played was so irritating.. I think some local made brand music system they using.
The buffet is 50 aed. And its good for value. But alacarte is not so pleasing.
Someone please teach them don't serve the fish fillet for all fish dishes.. that thing is one of the worst thing for cooking.. use real fish... even you serve sardines, it has its own taste. And dont cheat the customers, giving that fish fillet.

Overall the food taste is average. Malabar porotta is so oily..

The light & space ambiance is good. Washrooms are ok, but can be bit more hygienic.

The smell is good for those who like Bar more than restaurant. But if you want to hi light the restaurant, better hide the beer smell.

Good quality buffet spread , even though lesser items. The beef curry, fish curry ,biryani were of good tasting , prwans grill is the highlight of this buffet , however the big mackerel was not so fresh and blanch.

Salads and desserts were delicious , service and presentation was good

This spot gives extraordinary service and yummy meals. It is one of my favourite restaurants around town. The meals served rapidly, and the rates were reasonable. Highly recommended.

Recently me and my friends have taken up hiking in the mountains and wanted to take the next step.
We spent two days with David from The Highland Mountain Company and I can’t recommend them enough.
Before our winter training day and summit of Ben Nevis we discussed what it was that we wanted from our two days in the mountains and Dave delivered exactly what we had hoped.
Very informative, great communication and good company.
If your thinking about a guided walk or climb you’ll be in good hands with The Highland Mountain Company.

I'd highly recommend Dave and The Highland Mountain Company. I had an unforgettable day traversing the Aonoch Eagach. The advance organisation of the trip was very easy and well done. That professionalism continued on the day itself. Dave is really good at assessing clients' skills, fitness levels etc and then tailoring the day to them. He is both assured and re-assuring and so the day flew along without any hitches. He is also very knowledgable and great company. I'd definitely use again.

Fantastic New years day hike up Ben Nevis! Dave and Craig lead us up and they were both fantastic, sharing knowledge, given advice and telling us the history of the mountain. We were very lucky with the weather, with minimal wind and sunshine at the summit and nice snow underfoot - both Dave and Craig ensured we all felt comfortable and safe throughout and well equipped for the conditions.
Would definitely recommend and will be using for future adventures!

Three great days with Nathan in Torridon and his scrambling skills allowed us to make light work of the Am Fasarinen Pinnacles on Liathach. Would happily recommend The Highland Mountain Company.

Great day out on the Aonach Eagach with Jack and managed to complete our first Munro round a few days later
Jack filled us with confidence, balanced risk well, allowing us to walk / scramble most of the ridge on our own providing support only where necessary, making the ridge one of our most enjoyable mountain days. Great guide, great attitude, skills and experience, many thanks Steve and Sian

On Saturday 19th September, blessed with beautiful weather, it was my honor to climb Ben Nevis 3 times in one day. Yes, you read that right and yes it was a crazy idea. But I did it and I couldn't and wouldn't have wanted to do it without this amazing company. From the first contact to our last goodbye, everything was amazing. Even though my last descent was sideways (due to a failing knee) and in the dark, my amazing guide Alistair, kept me smiling.

Due to COVID restriction changes my national 3 peaks challenged was canceled, with less than 2 weeks to go. David at HQ was so fast quick to ease my panic and work out the best way around it. I am forever grateful and raised a great amount of money for the Samaritans too.

I cannot recommend this company enough! Thank you so so much.

Family just spent three days hill walking with Dave (Glen Nevis, Glencoe) and James (Skye) from the Highland Mountain Company. They were both brilliant. They knew great routes away from the crowds and tailored to our level. Cannot recommend them highly enough, and look forward to walking & climbing with them again soon.

Did the Ring of Steall yesterday, led by Mark from THMC. Mark was friendly, patient, knowledgeable, and set the pace perfectly for the day. Highly recommended.
