I am disappointed with my entire stay in the apartment where we lived. Apparently the agent, Anwar, explained that this apartment was in the process of house sale which he gave us documents to support it and a tenancy contract in 2021. He said he is representing the new owner. A few months ago, the “owner who sold the apartment” to them reached out to us asking to let his agent view the apartment because it is on sale. I told Anwar about this as it has been uncomfortable letting strangers view our own home. He told us that there have been a dispute in this apartment and we should not entertain the other owner and his requests.
Eventually, we have been threatened by the owner saying he will include my name in the court case and will call the police if we don’t cooperate. In fact, he asked us to leave rhe apartment. I know my rights as a tenant and I also know that I have nothing to do with them as long as I paid my rent and in fact I paid my rent a week earlier as requested by Anwar.
Anwar assured us that we can renew our tenancy contract (not easy to find another place) and has been calling me over and over to transfer the fund so he can prepare the papers. It has been 3 months without a tenancy contract renewed and he gets back to us with promises. So we decided to vacate the apartment.
The other owner was threatening us and even become a disturbance to our family. Our family member died and he still wants us to prioritize the viewing of the apartment. We have a family vacation, he wants us to leave the keys to the reception for agents to view it. Of course I did not grant his requests but his messages were disturbing my family mourning and I find his words insulting. We discussed this with Anwar, and as “the owner representative”, he did not do any move to stop the other owner in including us to their dispute being their tenant.
There were major issues in the apartment such as broken balcony glass due to weather and deterioration of paint and walls, Anwar wants us to pay for it, which I did not.
I requested for an NOC from him to vacate the premises and I’ve been told that he will prepare it as soon as he reached the office and some other alibis that I believed in. I did not receive anything.
I am writing it here because he is your Agent and we did not hear anything from him anymore. We have to ask help from the building management in order to vacate the apartment.
I issued a check as security deposit to the name of “the new owner” that Anwar represents and I am hoping that they will not encash it and will return it together with the unused renewal fee that I transferred to Anwar.
I remember I signed my first contract with him in Tabani’s office, staff went inside the room and had an argument there. That must have been a red flag for me that I ignored.

They have online system now for reporting any issues in your apartment, and we can track the progress through the system, and upload photos etc...which I found very efficient.
I highly recommend Tabani as your real estate provider.

We rented a house through Tabani and their agent called Anwar .Its been 5 months they havent returned the deposit. Everytime we follow up He ignores the call ,doesnt respond to messages and whenever he answers he gives fake promises that " he will get it today, he will get it done tomorrow" and still nothing.Me and my husband have been chasing him for months now.
The agent has some issues with owner of the house and so between their issues we are suffering.its time we take strict actions for this.
Liars , extremely unprofessional. and fraudsters ..will never recommended your company to anyone.
