This is a good spot for your turkish food cravings at global village.
Their kebabs and salads are on point. Though its a crowded place and mostly packed but worth the wait. Quick service and tasty food.

This was an amazing experience. The place, food and location were great but the magic was the people. They were caring and warm and it was a very good indication of the best of Turkish hospitality.
We had tired kids and sore feet and they were so friendly and above all they were kind.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Taksim Turkish Restaurant in Global Village Dubai and was thoroughly impressed with my experience. From the moment I walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere of the restaurant drew me in. Now, let's talk about the food! I ordered the chicken doner and beef kofte and both dishes were absolutely delicious. Ok its crowded and so, but won't recommend it the food arrived a bit late and cold dint enjoy my kebab dish , honestly the meat had abitter taste which am not used too
With regards to the atmosphere and servoce 1/10 . Good luck next time .

Nice food, easy and fast service We was there for Iftar restaurant was super busy but service was not bad it’s not fine dining service but in that location is nice.

Went there for iftar (Ramadan)
And ordered off the menu.
The food came exactly on time.
Loved their service, the staff were very understanding and friendly.
It was a rush hour, and they were trying their best to manage everything and serve everyone on time.
The kids ordered shawerma and the sandwiches were huge, they ended up keeping the rest for later.
Their hummus is not like the traditional hummus we're used to, but the flavor of the chickpeas was amazing.
We also had the shrimp casserole, cheese rolls and lamb chops.
Everyone was happy with their order.

- Nice atmosphere and location
- the staff are okay
- the food was bad: we ordered hummus which was too watery and was so bland, shish Kababs which were bland as well and didn't taste right! last was the salad which was .. meh.

Fun fact: I had diarrhea 2 hours after we left the restaurant

I do NOT recommend this restaurant.

The Shawerma is really big which 1 only will be enough, the lentil soup is not lentil soup , the flavor not there at all, it’s strange flavor. The place is nice in the global village but it’s very expensive we pay 180 for only Shawerma and lentil soup.
I would recommend other Turkish restaurant which are more affordable . The experience overall was good.

This little restaurant does super authentic, home cooked food, super friendly and welcoming to kids as well as adults. Plenty of space around tables to move in the space. Good drink options and so many delicious food choices.

It's not pretentious, formal or stuffy just prettily decorated but totally focused on the food. Highly recommended. Absolutely lovely.

The perfect place for an eat-in Indian casual meal. The food is well-prepared and staff extremely friendly. The only glitch during my visit was the long wait (45 minutes), and the staff said it was because a colleague was on sick leave. Will give them another chance.

Came here for lunch with my husband (who is Indian and claims the menu is very authentic) and we ordered a bunch of street food plates, some chilli paneer and some masala chai. Beautiful flavours and nice kick of spice without being overwhelming. Good portion sizes. Friendly staff. Clean restaurant. Overall great experience. Will be back with more family members next time.

The food was really tasty, well cooked and with all Indian spices. We had vegetarian grilled sandwiches and idli. All were tasty. It’s a good stopover if your are heading towards south of UK. The ambience is cool but not very great but I don’t think it matters when you are hungry on your road trip and you are able to have great food on the way.

Yes, I placed an ordered for a party of 12 people who were vegetarian. The food I received was fabulous and mouth watering.
The guests I ordered for enjoyed it immensely and commented on the taste.
My family and I are not vegetarian as such but have eaten at Yatra previously and found the authenticity of the food spot on.
They also service some non vegetarian Indian dishes which are equally tantalising.
Worth a visit I must say!!!

I'd heard good things about Yatra so was excited to try it. I was blown away by how good the food is. We've since ordered several times for take away and I recently visited in person, and was pleased to see an even more than extensive menu to choose from. Best Indian food I've ever had, and by far the best Indian in town.

The cafe could do with having some music playing to improve the atmosphere a bit.

Visited Yatra after reading the positive review but had bad experience.

There was just one guy who did both cooking and taking orders which made us wait a long time even before provided us a seat and it continued throughout.
Constantly serving the take away orders and annoyingly, the take away delivery guy was loud, a complete disregard for the dinners.

There was too much smoke from cooking and that made us cough many times and spoil the dining experience.

The Paani Puri we ordered came cold and not crunchy as the puri seems very old and with very little paani.

The biryani was another disaster with the taste not authentic. The meat was dry and again seems made a long time back.
It was funny that they a gave papodam as a side with Biryani in same plate.

Overall, I felt cheated by the positive reviews or me being there at the wrong time.
