I reallyyy wanted to love my experience at Talise spa, I've had it on my Dubai to-do list for so many years but unfortunately it's reputation did not precede itself. I booked the Tailored Experience Facial, the most expensive on their list, in which the therapist is meant to analyze my skin and customize the facial to my skin type. The "specialist" spent one minute looking at my skin to which she made no mention of what she determined. For one, she repeatedly wiped my tear trough with a cotton pad, to the point it started to burn. When it got to her 3rd attempt at roughly wiping such a sensitive area, I had to ask her to stop. You would expect a professional at such a renowned spa to know this! Then to top it off, the entire facial was filled with lathering what felt like this very thick lotion all over my face over and over and over. She'd wipe it off and add more, wipe off, add more and this continued for most of the 50 minute session. It was by far the worst facial I have ever received. I actually couldn't wait for it to be finished. The only reason I added the 2 stars is because I booked my mom and sister a Turkish Hammam which they absolutely loved! If you book at Talise, do yourself a favor and avoid the facials and instead stick to what they're known for, the Hammam's.

Absolutely incredible experience! What a cozy, peaceful place! The massage, the atmosphere, the sauna and snow room, the ginger tea - i loved everything! Staff is super extra friendly and helpful! Been there few times and definitely will go back again!

I have never had a hammam before but it was highly recommended to me and it was literally the best thing I've ever done in my life. The Talise Ottoman Spa was the best place to do it. Everything was gorgeous. The front desk was super helpful. Everyone made me feel comfortable and like royalty. I felt so clean and the people were very good at their jobs. I will remember this forever!

Despite attending the spa in the past the customer service is incredibly poor recently. The spa in itself is beautiful and the facilities are great however, calling to schedule a booking involves being hung up on 1/2 times before actually calling back on your own accord to get through to someone. Staff on the phones are incredibly monotone and unhelpful at best. If you have been gifted a spa experience bear in mind dates are hard to come by and you will not receive much help in being able to schedule a date. You will need to ask all the questions to have the customer service support you.

I received a gift voucher for this spa from my mother in law as she is totally obsessed and goes every time she comes to Dubai on holiday. I never got to use the gift until now due to unforeseen circumstances with travel and work. I have recently just tried to book it and they refused to avail the voucher as it was only valid for a year and it is now in its second year. We have emailed them again a couple of times but still no reply. It seems they are refusing to deal with this matter! The spa voucher is worth 650aed and they are practically taking it without providing me any services, almost like “stealing”.

I was really looking forward to trying this place out but this has left a bad impression on me as well as my mother in-law who is appalled at how their management is acting. It’s safe to say we will never use this spa/brand again and will not be recommending it to anyone.

A very tired venue, desperately needs a refurb, facilities are ok. Service is poor, my massage was not good, i asked for a specific body part to be focused on, but it got less than 1 min of attention. I paid for their signature massage, however it was no different to a standard massage. Lady masseuse was also late for an appointment and couldnt get me out quick enough. She kept making strange sounds during the massage which kept me distracted from my enjoyment of the treatment.

This place used to be the best spa in the uae
. Not sure what changed, if ita management then it's very evident. The staff are not helpful nor welcoming or informative, there r things that don't work like the head pressure valves near the tropical room. They only serve water and tea when they had before a range of snacks along with proper machines replaced by a thermos! The massage I booked was 60 mins, usually they start a massage from when they start massaging you, the lady took into account the moment I entered including changing my clothes and washing my feet as part of the 60 mins!. Overall, very very disappointed with how things changed here!

The most amazing spa and Turkish bath experience in Dubai. One of a kind. Above the rest. The attention to detail and service is beyond this world. Always booked in advance and limited availability, but it’s worth the wait. We shall return for a day treat and enjoy the facilities more, where you can spend all the time you need after your treatment. Looking forward to the next visit!
