After a long day, all it took was just one perfect cup of tea and a delicious chicken shawarma cooked to perfection from this fabulous little establishment with very pleasant and welcoming staff. The shawarma was fresh and flavorful, and it comes with a variety of toppings and the menu is packed with a delightful selection. The price is very reasonable and the portions are generous.
Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious meal this side of Dubai.

Bow locks No.20, Bow E3, London Borough of Newham are situated on the River Lea Navigation canal and Bow Creek. These locks control the tidal flow from Bow Creek to raise the levels of the Lea Navigation canal and adjoining Limehouse Cut. Bow Locks were first built in 1850, rebuilt in 1930, and modernised in 2000 as seen of today. I reached Bow Locks from the House Mill on Three Mills Island by walking along the linear central 'island' towpath (Bow Creek and Lea either side) via engaging underneath the Bow Railway bridge. Shortly on from the railway bridge is Bow Locks which come into view by the road bridge (just above) in Twelve Trees Cresent. A good close view of the lock gates below can be obtained here at this point from the crossover towpath bridge which continues on along the Limehouse Cut on your right side. Alternatively, you can reach the lock at TFL bus service D8 at stop (BB) Twelve Trees Crescent, in Gillender Road by Bow School. From here, the Lock is adjacent to the bus stop (and subway) by turning left into Navigation Road which connects the Towpath via a gate on entry and exit - whichever direction you've have taken. My visit was on Sunday 9/10/22 during a day visit to the House Mill, a good combination of destinations within easy close reach of each other and provide a view of some East London's waterways and industrial past. Surprisingly, I thought the surroundings by the House Mill rather quaint with wildlife to be seen along this stretch of the Lea Valley complex.

Beautiful and disused lock. Has a little bridge over it to get you over the canal/river but otherwise it’s just a spot for graffiti and a place to sit and drink while watching the world go by

This is a lovely area. Laying just off the bow flyover you can walk the canal path and enjoy the ducks and fancy barges. You come to an area where there are sculptures play area picnic area and free standing table tennis tables. Take your own bats and balls and your away! The path goes through bow locks but continues further to Three mills studio where you can see an amazing cobble stone walkway. There is a tea room there for tea and snacks. Just along further is Bow tesco . The sky's the limit there food galore.

Excellent spot allows access to both the Lea navigation and the real river Lea. Cody dock with it's superb views across the bridge

Interesting spot on the Lea river valley walk. Midway between Limehouse and Stratford where the canal meets the river Lea.

Nice place to go for a walk along the River Lea. I haven't seen this lock in use though, will at least not as frequent as the Regents Canal.
