Normally hires qualified teachers from the UK however they have an extremely high turnover rates among the teacher especially those highly qualified - they last no more than a year then they move to other schools normally targeting higher pay! The school lacks transparency especially when grouping secondary students into high, intermediate and low level without having clear criteria and without consulting parents! Recently started to construct new secondary buildings in the backyard which will take no less than 2 years to complete - I can’t understand how students will tolerate this noise and how it will impact students health and safety ! Overall, it was a good school at the very beginning then they moved to a more commercial focused school unfortunately

I would like to thank the Aquila School for having welcomed my son, because we arrived here last year from Brazil, he managed to have a great performance and learning, despite having several changes in the classroom as a teacher, he left in the middle of the semester, then another came in that he also left the room, and it was very turbulent, a super thanks to Mrs. Sonal as always very helpful and from the beginning took great care and helped my son Thomas a lot, thank you very much.

I'm writing this review almost after a year from a very bad experience with this school to make sure It's an honest and not an angry one.
After moving to another school and feel the difference in everything, I can confirm this school is below average.
Poor management, the head of school is useless when a serious issue comes, the head of primary was so unprofessional beyond your imagination, we were sitting in their meeting room wondering how these people are running a school.

So unprofessional to the extent of lying, so not qualified you feel sorry for your kids and the money wasted in this school.

Please avoid it for all stages, horrible experience.

I had a very bad experience with the school. The teachers turnover is unbelievable, they leave in the middle of the year or every semester. Very poor inclusion team, and unqualified management.

Dear parents,
My daughter had a horrible experience in the Aquila school. The teachers have a poor attitude in education and my daughter came back being frustrated from this school each day. Within the lack of all of these issues, she could hardly make friends in this school.

They dont give fair chance to students specially to kids starting FS1. Recommended for an unnecessary speech therapy for a child of 3yr8months. We got our child admitted to another school and without any therapy he speaks properly and picked up at school right away.
They interview small kids and expect them to carry conversations as if they are adults. My child did speak at the time and respond to all the questions, even tried to respond with expressions etc. but the head of FS was expecting a 3 year old kid to carry convsrsations like adults. It was a mis judgement and lack of empathy on their part and my kid never got any speech therapy and is doing great at his other school since he joined. This shows their lack of empathy and short sightedness which had us go through a tough phase and we never received any apology.

This is a true community school. The head teacher himself is heavily involved in the day to day running of the school, parents feel welcomed and listened to. I moved my children from a well known brand of schools to The Aquila after not feeling comfortable in ‘the machine’ of uae education. I only wish I’d moved them to Aquila earlier! Couldn’t be happier. Excellent teaching standards, excellent leadership and excellent facilities. Children from all over the world, working creatively alongside each other having lots of fun with their education. Highly recommended - I’m a genuine and very happy parent ????

We are so happy that we chose this school! We loved their philosophy from the first meeting and the facilities were also impressive. But the best is the way the school envolves all the families, teachers and students in a great community! Plus, the Principal creates a very good environment where kids loves to stay, he interacts with the pupils in many moments during the day! His open door office reveals all about his unique way of leading this school! Our daughters had an amazing start in this school and we receive from the teachers a lot of feedback about their progress. We couldn’t be happier!
