I have recently been diagnosed with fybromyalgia. I am in the very early stages of treatment and I have been told by the doctor who diagnosed me to make follow up appointments with him. However reception staff are now telling me that I cannot make a pre bookable appointment to see the doctor and I have to phone at 8am and speak to any doctor who is avaliable that day. This to me is unacceptable as I have been told by the doctor to make an appointment with HIM! I cannot get through to the receptionists that this is on request of the doctor. Something needs to be done as this practice of making appointments is not working! I have previously phoned at 8am for a week straight to be told on the phone being answered that there are no appointments, phone back tomorrow! Not good enough!!

Id like to start this review with saying the reception staff have ALWAYS been great with me and very helpful. I am however very confused by appointments and the lack of care now received by the doctors. For 13 months now I have had consistent chest infections and have been taking antibiotics on and off for that period of time. I have explained on numerous occasions to the doctor I have a bubbling sensation in my right lung but not once in a year has a doctor asked to see me to listen to my chest or sent me for an xray. Unfortunately I have another one so began calling at 8am this morning and luckily managed to get through by 8.06am, only to be told there were no appointments left with doctors and the nurse would call me. I had previously raised my concerns that in over a year I had not once seen a doctor for them to listen to my chest or been put forward for an xray so I scheduled my own xray through a private hospital that showed a shadow on my lung. Now as a previous cancer patient I would have thought that this would raise concern enough with the doctor that at the very least they would want to see my in person to listen to my chest and at the very least tell me what the bubbling is but instead I am waiting for a callback from the nurse. To say this is concerning is an understatement and has caused enormous anxiety for me which I've also explained to the doctors. It is NOT OK for ppl to be treated like this and wonder what actually needs to be wrong with you to actually be seen by a doctor these days. I also wonder why in 6 minutes of opening there are no appointments left with doctors? I will now be contacting the practise manager to receive an explanation before I bring the attention of the health board to this matter. Again I would like to state how amazing the reception staff have been with me

I have always found staff to be helpful, staff nurse is efficient and friendly, as are the Doctors. Recently had flu jab, system in place is really good. Found pharmacy in practice quick and efficient, particularly as my prescription is often difficult to obtain.

My son is 4 years old, has a fever and sore throat for 3 days, today there are red marks on the body which is a sign of a contagious virus. I call to make an appointment but they refused to make an appointment, they say I have to call the next day to see if they can be seen by the doctor. Starting with the person who answers the phone and ending up at the pharmacy, nothing works well.

Reception staff, well one in particular, extremely rude and should not be dealing with members of the public. Doctors themselves are in the main ok but are dessimating quickly. Changing practice anyway due to house move.

Terrible GP, avoid if you can. Pharmacy service within GP practice is appalling, constantly mixing up prescriptions and will blatantly "blame" patient for their mistake. Disappointing service from the NHS.

Just went in to sign up here after moving over from glasgow. Staff were friendly and helpful. Clinic seems clean and presentable with plenty of seating area and things to keep you occupied.
