A relatively easy walk from Cold Cut parking area along good tracks.
Some information boards available along the way that help explain landscape and mining history (early July 2023 visit).

Super place. Very interesting and scenic spot. About two miles walk from nearest road.

Interesting to see it, hours could be spent just looking through all the stones on the ground that would most likely be part of spoil heaps.
When the mine was in use. It's easy to romanticise about those days, but it cannot be forgotten that without any health and safety.
Working in the mine would have been a brutally hard and extremely dangerous job. I would imagine that the miners would have had a fairly short life expectancy.
Not for me, but I did enjoy being there a very interesting visit.

Untidy site with few recognisable structures, piles of stones, spoil heaps, but I was glad of the info board & pleased to visit as part of a super circular walk up the hill from The Bridge Inn to Greenhow and back via the caravan sites

Would not recommend going there just to see old mine workings. Not much to see. But it is on the Nidderdale way and you walk through it any way. At least there are 2 graphic explanation boards.

An old lead mine set in a stunning valley in the middle of the Yorkshire dales, this site is a great example of an old English industrial site. A few hours walk from Pateley bridge. Careful not to fall down any mineshafts!

Interesting mine on the route of a loop of the Nidderdale Way. Industrial history set in a beautiful location on Ashfold Side Beck with open moorland beyond.
