Restaurant very conveniently located within the Dubai Opera building. Friendly staff and decent food. However, the atmosphere was not cosy at all - sitting on the terrace felt like being in a dimly lit subway entrance. Tables are spaced extremely wide with lots of dead space in between. Add to this the materials used and you feel like in some kind of hotel or railway station hallway. The food was good, with a good set menu. But only the water melon salad was special, the salmon was slightly overcooked and nothing special. Creme brulee and ice cream were decent deserts. Food and ambience is not really worth the prices they charge. But then again - you are just steps away form the opera hall.

At first before the main course if it was only a review for the food it would be a five+ star. For the price they ask I expect excellent service, logistics and ambience.
Service, logistics is a nightmare, ambience if you like brunch inside in a sauna at outside temperatures of 30+ degrees Celsius this is the place for you.
Then our main coarse grill came which was raw meat and fish. For excellent kitchen go somewhere else for binching more value for money is available.
For location bad beyond imagination if you need an answer uber.

Highly recommended for Saturday brunch - I really enjoyed the good vibes and entertainment by their jazz band. Seafood is freshly grilled, no fishy smell. If you are visiting, their house bread and ricotta is a must try!

Next time i would visit high end restaurant without valet parking i will run without turning back ! Especially when i was expecting a terace and end up with somehow a balcony, so small that me and my neighbor were kind of sharing the same table.
A Magasine cover place and....ah not that's it ! Everything looks good to the point that when i tasted the Food for the first time, i wondered if be a decoration was the only purpose of it. However i keep trying to to find something edible till the end when i just gave up and came to the conclusion that the place must be a museum and that they forgot to add "look but don't consume" .

There's a 3 hour meat marathon here on Tuesdays for aed 229/- pp with stunning views of thr burj khalifa. With unlimited quantities of premium meat like short ribs, baby back ribs, grassfed Australian tenderloin, flank steak and even citrus bbq chicken wings with a large selection of sauces and sides served right on your table. There's also a complimentary alcoholic welcome drink. Excluding this there are live counters which come to your table and serve up more steak and also sausages. They've also got burgers but we were totally full with the meat so didn't trt. Everything including service, ambience, the view & the food was fantastic ???? Great spot!

Sean Connolly’s brasserie offers an uncomplicated and produce-driven menu to Dubai’s theatre patrons – or just anyone with an affinity for seafood and prime steak.

Its oceanic interior pairs Connolly’s love for oysters and the emirate’s own pearl diving heritage, finding it the perfect home under the dhow-inspired roof of Dubai Opera.

Despite its grande location, Connolly stayed true to his humble and down-to-earth cooking style – with a pizza corner and a sushi counter. Our eclectic yet stylish meal is another indication of the Chef’s flair for dishes that are homely yet sophisticated.

We visited to celebrate the birthday of a friend and were given a complementary dessert (worth 40 Dhs) – A lovely touch!

The only shortcoming of my visit was the music. I appreciate that it has a bar, but there is absolutely no reason to torture early diners with soul-destroying house and trance music at 7pm – when the sun hasn’t even set. In fact, I will even go as far to say the poor choice of music cheapened and degraded a what would have been pleasant and charming venue.

The Loft is located at the top of one of the most paradigmatic architectural building in the UAE, the Dubai Opera. If you are looking for a place to enjoy the amazing view of Burj Khalifa with some great food and exclusive dining expereince then this is the place for you.
'Meat All Night' is an ideal menu for a carnivorous Foodie and to have delicious meat within the iconic Dubai Opera is a worthwhile experience all together.

First time at this lovely place.. from the ambience to the music and service, it was an enjoyable experience. The tuna tartare was superb. Our server, Michael deserves a special mention!! The hostesses were attentive but not intrusive. They have ladies nights on Wednesdays which seems pretty good... worth a visit for sure!!
