Ideal drop point if you want to explore the nearby Blaen Bran reservoir and woodland walk. Bus runs to and from Cwmbran town centre. I have taken the bus to this point then hiked up onto the mountain path which leads to Twm Barlwm. A walk down into Risca and you can get another bus as the mountain road joins Holly Road.
The bus stop has a shelter, but not much has else.

A Quiet stop for the hills with an amusing blast from the local rag and bone man. Definitely worth a another look...
