Having visited Norwich numerous times, I was excited to explore the bus station in Peterborough for the first time. Despite assuming it would be near the train station, I soon discovered that they were a fifteen to twenty-minute walk apart. After a lengthy three-hour bus journey from Peterborough, we finally arrived and entered the station.

Surprisingly, the bus station appeared more minor than I had anticipated. However, what it lacked in size, it made up for in specific amenities. One aspect that caught my attention was the presence of indoor toilets. It was a relief to find them conveniently located within the station, saving us from having to search for facilities elsewhere. As I glanced around, I noticed a spacious reception area where the staff diligently assisted customers—a delightful sight.

While exploring the premises, I encountered a café that seemed worn down. Although I didn't personally sample any items from there, it did not exude the most inviting atmosphere. Nonetheless, I appreciate that it was available for those seeking refreshments during their travels.

One aspect that impressed me was the cleanliness and maintenance of the toilets. They were well-kept and provided separate facilities for both males and females, as well as an inclusive genderless disabled bathroom—a thoughtful addition that ensured accessibility for all passengers. It was evident that efforts were made to ensure the comfort and convenience of visitors.

In summary, while the Peterborough bus station may have appeared smaller than expected, it provided essential amenities such as indoor toilets and a welcoming reception area. Despite the somewhat worn-down café, the overall cleanliness and maintenance of the station, including the inclusive bathroom facilities, were commendable. It was a functional and well-kept station that served its purpose effectively.

Usually I’d have good things to say about this place, each time I’ve been staff have been alright. However, I got to the station before closing time and desperately needed a wee (I’m heavily pregnant) I saw the staff let some people go in despite “closing up” and the staff could CLEARLY see I was heavily pregnant but wouldn’t let me in to use the toilet. Not very happy to be honest you’d think you’d make an exception for a HEAVILY pregnant woman but no apparently not. With no toilets close by & that being the only option, I had no choice but to hold my bladder which lead me to feel extremely anxious & uncomfortable. Usually I wouldn’t bother writing about things like this but I just think it’s absolutely disgusting not letting a heavily pregnant woman use the toilet, but can let other people in for some reason.

Small and easy enough to find your stand as it’s well managed and sign posted. Can get busy at times so best to arrive early for your coach or bus if you’re going long distance.

waited on St Stephens street for the no. 37 bus in plenty of time to get the 13.49pm bus which never turned up then the 14.20pm no. 37 bus again never turned up but we had seen at least 4 no. 37's go up St Stephens Street whilst we were waiting. In the end a no. 36 arrived at 14.40pm which we got on. Disgusted.

Great Bus Station in the middle of Norwich City Centre. Excellent facilities, although basic are more than enough before you catch your Bus or Coach. Right next to a number or shops and well valued restaurants. It's lots easier for anyone who struggles to walk a long distance. The Train Station in Norwich is a longer way out than this Bus Station

First time using park and ride, 2 buses home scheduled, both of which did not turn up with no information or delays displayed on the screen. It simply moved onto the next bus time! Eventually turned up but left a large group of people shivering in the cold for over half an hour. You need to keep customers informed.

It's a bus station. Easy to get knocked out going to the gents. Buses usually run smoothly. No shelter or facilities really when it's closed.
