Visited this outlet expecting to have our favourite Pandal biryani. Presumably due to COVID-19 restrictions, it was unavailable. The menu was limited to the famed beef chatti choru, palli choru and drinks.

We ordered one of each and weren't disappointed.

Beef chatti choru: Parboiled rice, thoran(amaranth stir-fried with coconut), beef curry, beef fry, papad, chilli pickle and ginger curd.
All the components were excellent, especially the beef fry with its well-marinated and tender pieces of beef.

Palli choru: ghee rice, beef curry, chicken fry, raita, papad, lady's finger sambar.

Ghee rice was made with the Malabari variety khaima rice which was perfectly cooked and had a superb aroma and flavour. The meal took us back to the traditional Malabari Muslim wedding feast. Both the dishes came with payasam which, wasn't up to the mark (not creamy enough and a tad sweet for my taste), but that wasn't the main component so we didn't mind at all. We also ordered lime soda which was cool and refreshing.

Casual setting suitable for groups and families.

Ordered Items & opinion -

Seafood bucket (Janga jaga jaga Chaakara) - for 4 people. We were actually 5 adults and 3 kids. We took porotta as the combination. It also has an option with ghee rice. The curry was enough for all of us. We ordered some extras porottas only.

Kuttichira beef varattu - Delicious. Beef was so soft and the curry was so tasty.
Kerala Parotta - Good and medium size.
Puttu - We can order as one piece or one portion. Nice with beef curry.
Samovar Chai - Good one.

Ordered beef chatti choru and it was an average one. Only beef fry, beef curry and one thoran and little curd was there.
We asked for pickle and Chammanthi separately and they provided both.
It was crowded at 2pm.

We had ordered for fish bucket , which includes porotta and ghee rice combo ,but ghee rice got over , so we ordered for porotta and chapati, it was delicious but spicy too..food was well cooked.
When we reached at this place it was very crowded and we had to wait for 20 min to get a seat , but it was worth.
Staffs were nice and treated us well..

Had gone before lunch time so.ended getting biryani and chatti choru. Couldn't explore more options. Preferred item would be beef chattichoru. The staff was really nice and tried to accommodate us.

Tried Beef Chatti Chor... Beef was well cooked and the combination with Ghee Rice was superb... Also a piece of fried chicken completes the meal.

Pallichor is a must try dish , with ghee rice with chicken fry ,raitha and pallichor ( which is a traditional malabar beef Cury served during festivals in mosque )

Very tasty food. Especially the fish curry meals. The beef fry was heavenly. Biriyani is also good.
