We did the Sunday buffet. Handy valet service and friendly staff. Soup, fresh tasty salads, great mutter paneer, bhindi do pyaza and 10 other indian vegetarian dishes. Not too spicy nor too oily, just nicely tasty vegetarian.

I was surprised their food was good.. The hindustani momos were my favorite, their Chinese has a touch of Indian spices in it which makes it a Lil more flavorsome. The cost for two is approx 200 which is not so bad

Been twice to Vega by Puranmal and must say they have a good spread of menu right from Fast-food to Italian, Chinese, South Indian and North Indian. The biggest advantage… it’s a pure vegetarian restaurant and their food is really good. I liked their Pav Bhaji though the Bhaji portion was small. Liked their Paneer Chilly and Lasuni Palak. Ambience is nice and sitting is well placed. Excellent service and very cordial staff.

So upon entering there was about 7 Indian men sitting all around the reception, not one greeted me or acknowledged me. They all looked very cold & shifty. One guy waved a dismissive hand to sit on a sofa next to the door. After a few minutes i said i need a table. He suggested i go upstairs for the buffet.
I must say the buffet food was delicious and the upstairs service excellent, top marks there.
When i was paying i found out the main weirdo was the owner, i asked him if everything was ok as he and his friends seemed unhappy. He just sheepishly shrugged his shoulders and looked faintly embarressed. When i was leaving there were more creepy serious shady looking men hanging around.
Maybe they are racist to western caucasians?.

Maybe they dont want too much service if the restaurant is a front for other 'business' ?...

If you can put up with the attitude go and enjoy the vegetarian lunchtime buffet.

We had a couple of meals at this place , breakfast, lunch and dinners . It was a good Indian place near rove lamer . It’s like you in Indian sweet shop . The food is good . Tea was good . And the menu has everything that an Indian gourmet would desire . The mooli Partha was delicious, the puchkaar were good , The only thing I dint like there were too many mosquitoes,

This is a really nice restaurant which had valet parking, service was quick, friendly staff. You can also choose this restaurant if you are craving for a quick and tasty meal.

Picture 1 : We had the Mixed Kabab Platter, they were well seasoned and cooked. It provides a perfect start to your meal and the quantity is adequate too.

Picture 2 : For main course the dish that we ordered was ' Diwani handi ' with which I like Garlic butter naan.

Picture 3 : The steamed rice was good.

Picture 4 : You all know what must be coming up next, so yes its time for the dessert for which we had ordered ' Kesar Royal Falooda '. It was really nice, also contains ice cream - peanuts.

I love this place.. already visited number of times .
Food is just so awesome ..Puranmal is anywys famous for its taste n freshness in indian chaat . But one should definitely try its italian range . Obviously with some indian touch .
We ordered pasta and Ravioli .pasta was over cooked but ravioli ws satisfying..
But i love it .
After food dont forget to try paan kulfi it was just so fresh and best taste in the town
Esp when u r in jumeirah and you are vegetarian this is a perfect go to place ..
Why i gave 3 star is because of service . They should wear head cap .
