Last Saturday I went to try their Saturday brunch with a group of friends and food was amazing. You can have unlimited starters and drinks. Service was great too. My fav plates were the shrimp popcorn and the sushi.

If you're looking for a great Japanese restaurant in Dubai, look no further! This place is my absolute favorite. You simply have to try their almond meringue dessert - it's a unique and special treat you won't find anywhere else. And, if you're in the mood for a drink, I highly recommend the umeshu wine on the rocks - it's simply delicious. Don't miss out on this amazing dining experience! ????????

Great place for Asian food. Nice view of the marina. Nice bites to share, great drinks and wine.
Try the almond meringue desert it's SO good. Popcorn shrimp and carb rolls are very nice

Must-visit on Blue Waters! I loved the place from the first bite: unforgettable izakaya experience! The place has its special vibe in every detail starting from the menu and ending with crowded parties! Also they have lovely Saturday brunches on their terrace overviewing Blue Waters.
My reco from the menu: green salad, octopus kushiyaki, crispy tuna.

Virgin Izakaya Dubai located at Blue Waters Wharf is a traditional Japanese restaurant with a modern and continental twist in their cuisine.

A diverse menu with a wide range of starters, main course and drinks is the perfect start to a great weekend.

For starters we were served Dumplings, Sushi, Prawn popcorn & Crab hand roll. And for main course there were very unique Combos such as Caramelized eggplant, Beef steak & Chicken fried rice.

It was the right amount of crispy, soft, tender and delicious!

A cherry on top is the sheesha they serve with a spectacular view! The ambiance and the view is too die for.

Parking is easily available and transit is accessible!

We have been to too many Japanese cousins and this review is very honest upon our experience in 01.10.2022 for Virgin Izakaya Dxb :

Food ???? : Normal.
Price ???? : Very expensive.
Service ????: Normal "we have been served twice with the wrong meal and drinks"
Music ???? : Amazing ????.
Vibe : Good.

Every meal was delicious, the service was amazing and it was an enjoyable environment with a price that fits its value. However, the background music would have to be lowered a little bit more for a comfortable setting. I will definitely come back again.

Had a wonderful meal at Virgin Izakaya. The food was superb! Great selection of dishes..

The service was impeccable!

Only took three photos because the food kept coming and it was delicious so forgot to take more.

We will be back!!
