Today is the hottest day of the year. My normal train was initially on time and after waiting for 30 minutes they all got cancelled at the last minute. I rang this company and they had a car available, which I was happy about. I told them my name. I was going to a London area and I had a bicycle which I was told was not a problem. After waiting what seemed like ages for the available driver I rang back and was told that my driver picked up the wrong person. I was confused at how can someone not noticed they haven't picked up a female going to a specific area WITH a bicycle! They said they would contact the driver. I waited and waited then called back for an update to be told there were no more cars. You can imagine being extremely hot and carrying heavy work bags and a bicycle. If I could have ridden all the way home I would but I was suffering from a stiff neck and was not able to cycle that distance with work clothes and extra bits so you could imagine how frustrated I was feeling at this point. The operator on the phone was saying it was the driver's fault and said that if I see a taxi I should just get in. I wasn't sure if he meant if I should wait for a random on duty taxi off the street or one of his taxis, and when I asked him... he hung up on me. Thanks Guys.. :-/
