Food was average ; good hummus Bairuti . Shawarma lamb was not nice; I had better .. why ; coz I felt the lamb في طعم شحم . Chicken shawarma was better, fried kubah was salty. The mixed grille came after 45 mins. Other starters were average . Value for money ; high .

To found a piece of hair inside they box still i didnt opened the sweet i didnt expected to be honest its my first time i buy from there and price expansive i said since a good quality and service really its my first and last time

The place has a great outdoor area but lack of organization and seating options ready for customers. Food and drinks were overpriced, in the past the place was great but now 72dhs for small plate (apparently platter) was a let down?

The place lacks the Gourmet experience like it used to have. No it’s just like any Arabic place. Could be improved. We paid 200 dhs for a small plate of food, 1 tea and 1 Pepsi. You need to spend 300-400 to have a good lunch for 2.

Worst dining experience in Dubai. Ever!
The staff were extremely rude. And only catered to the Local people.
They didn’t ask us what we wanted to eat. Didn’t take out order. And didn’t bring in cutlery till well after the food came. Even after telling 3 people!

When we complained and asked to see the Manager - they said we’ll have to wait. And no Manager came eventually.

Worst dining experience. Would NOT recommend.

Amazing and authentic tasting Lebanese Food. It seems they have a new chef, and the food taste has improved a lot. It is now faultless.
Service is excellent also. We were served by Farah, who is very cheerful and prompt.
The daily dishes remind you of home cooked food.
Excellent overall and highly recommended.

Wafi Gourmet in the Wafi Mall has a wonderful terrace cum garden and with the weather now in Dubai being almost perfect, it made sense to have breakfast there this morning at about 09:30 with a friend. When we took our table on the terrace it seemed we were in for a treat.

However, we were in for a surprise instead, the surprise was how slow the service was. The waiting staff were reasonably on the ball, but the problem is with the kitchen getting the orders out. My friend was served his breakfast, after a wait, some 15 minutes before mine arrived was wrong. I sent it back explaining again what I wanted to wait a further 10 minutes for it to come back wrong again. The moment was gone! Well it was somewhat longer than a moment that's for sure.

Settings and decor deserve a 4 to 5 star, service (kitchen) deserves a 1 star. But all in all I rate my dining experience today an overall 3 star. One shining light for me was the waiter know as Jay, who did his utmost to make our dining experience memorable but I believe he lacked the general support of the Kitchen and a certain amount of apathy from his colleagues. The restaurant was almost empty for the duration of my stay about 45 -50 minutes.

I don't know what's the hype about this place. The food was below average. Ordered pasta which came overcooked to almost a soup. The cheese rolls were dripping oil (I understand they're fried, just give them a bit of a draining time or a wipe?)
Service was just average.
Ambience is the only redeeming thing about this place.

Not to mention, it is not a cheap location.

My advice is to avoid it, as there are many better alternatives.

Beautiful walks around the estate even if you don’t go into The National Trust‘s compound to visit the goldmine and cafe/shop. Some walks are steep but others across the valley bottom, to the Dolaucothi Arms are peaceful and easy. Free parking below the entrance to The National Trust.

A number of walks start here suitable for a wide range of abilities. From a short easy going route mainly on the flat to more strenuous routes through the river valley and back up the hillside.

Free parking, clean toilets and a lovely pub serving great food are all available in Pumsaint village.
