Pros: The food is definitely amazing, especially their mutton karahi, grill and the platter. The afghani pulao is spot on and is worth giving a try. The staff is friendly.

Cons: The prices are a bit higher compared to other Afghani and Pakistani places. Hard to find parking. It can get really crowded and you have to wait a lot to get a table. The ambiance can be improved.

Authentic Afghan dining experience with a wide range of delicious cuisine. Their must-try specialties include Pulao, Shinwari, Chapli Kebab, and flavorful grills. The standout feature is the freshness of the food, which enhances the overall taste and satisfaction.

However, it is worth noting that there can be a delay of approximately 45 minutes in serving, so it's advisable to place your order in advance to avoid waiting time. The restaurant's ambiance is cozy yet traditional, creating a pleasant dining atmosphere. The staff is exceptionally polite and attentive, adding to the overall positive experience.

Restroom need cleaning and fixing. Culinary is overused and not clean enough always.

I highly, highly recommend it for a remarkable Afghan culinary journey.

(Please note that the experience at the Jumeirah road branch differs significantly, with slow service and below-average food quality and quantity.)

This is my favorite restaurant!

Full of Shinwari menu. Spicy and juicy Chicken and Mutton options. We always go with Shinwari chicken and lamb karahi. Their Afghani rice are awesome. Chapel kebab is a must try!

Their spicy sauce is really really unique and flavorful.

I always enjoy food with families and friends. Always take my visitors and friends visiting UAE to this place.

I was there at the end of December three times and that’s because the food is so delicious. Just discovered afghan food and I have to say that I’m impressed with the taste. The flavors are just wow. The afghan rice tastes amazing and the mutton is really good. After visiting a few afghan restaurants in Dubai I can say I liked Wakha the most, staff is really friendly and yes it takes 30 minutes to be served but they will tell you that since the beginning. Even so the food is too good not to wait and also you can order the nan filled with potatoes first, which is very tasty and comes quicker.

Really good food, very authentic food from the Pashtun belt. Highly recommended, if you are new to this kind of food, talk to the guy at the counter with a stylish beard (forgot his name). He will help you to order according to your palate.

Heaven for non-vegetarian people. You can get a range of Afghani and Pakistani items. The bread is just amazing. I recommend you order in advance on call as the waiting time is too much if you walk in and order (since they prepare fresh food). Also don't forget to try the complimentary kava which is served at the end.

I ate there on 12 May 2023, ordered the 2 persons platter and the food is so good, staff are polite but didn't like the atmosphere that much because the place is small and becomes noisy when all tables are full. I recommend all types of meat there. They cook it very good.

Unexpectedly we had such delicious food. I highly recommend trying the Wakha platter so tasty as a very expensive restaurant and a big portion. Thank you
