Unlike many other airports Dubai still offers several free access smoking lounges. Depending on the time of day and their location these lounges can become a bit overcrowded and the ventilation system insufficient, but at downtimes they are a great source of comfort for your nicotine cigarette or vaping needs. Compared to other airports and smoking areas I've been to, the smoking facilities of Winston are surely amongst the best.

When I was there, it was incredibly busy and smokey. Once it cleared out a little, staff came in and attended to any tidying up needed. I was quite impressed with how clean and tidy it was, and grateful for the rest stop.

This place needs a better idea for preventing smoke from coming to the non smoking areas. The areas C6 C8 are like smoking zones... Anytime the smoking zones door opens... Smoke reaches everyone.

This one located close to the T3 terminal, I think, was the worst ever smoking lounge/room I've ever been in. As it is one of the busiest terminal areas, the room is wholly insufficient in size to accommodate the volume of traffic. So this should AT LEAST be doubled in size. Then the ventilation inside needs to be stepped up, just because I am a smoker, does not mean that I don't need fresh or clean breathable air, moreso because I am a smoker. So a little accommodation and compassion for us would be really great, thank you. And finally, seating. I understand there is a need for comfort, but I would happy sacrifice a comfortable couch for just anywhere to sit. Have you seen how huge your airport is and how far people have to walk? Yes, a hard uncomfortable bench would be happily received, thank you. Maybe along the periphery of the room you could have those continuous padded benches and in the center, much more basic, but plentiful seating. I thank thee.

Above average smoker room.
Pretty hard to find though due to lack of signs.

At Terminal 3, by Gate B7, opposite to Victoria's Secret shop. Air feasible (compared to other places in the world), even during most busy hours after midnight. Some chairs available, also sockets to charge phones etc.

For a smoking travelers like me. Having a smoking lounge in the airport is consider icing on the cake. Very few airport focuses on smoking lounge and Dubai just make it on the next level. Clean not crowded, comfortable and classy with proper ventilation nice couches and sitting placement.
