Very special hotel and cafe.
Into old style building and in a wonderful location. Many small details make it unique. As the view from above, and the rooms furniture.
Just a bit small size rooms and some no window

Spent two nights and I have to say I loved the experience and the service were excellent. Heidi was very helpful and cheerful ????. All the stuff were superb. The breakfast was yummy orange juice and coffee or tea your preference as you like. Eggs they u wish. They also have foul (beans) and labna with Arabic bread or toast. Cutted Fruits. Yummy food and you can see other people coming only for their restaurants. Atmosphere is charming and takes you back in history were old house gives peaceful vibes of simplicity. Bathroom hot water and they used rituals products fantastic smell. Only thing we didn't like is the bed is small and mattress and pillow are not comfortable ???? ????. Rooms size is small too..so it good for only 1 pr two days max. I liked the concept and salute the organizers and the stuff as it's well-maintained and super clean. Price were expensive too. Recommend for unique experience and 2 day.

I love everything about this place! I can not explain it how good staffs are and what a memorable experience we’ve had there. Just love love love there and def gonna get back. dont reserve breakfast and enjoy having different breakfasts everyday at bazar!

I didn't stay in the hotel, rather visited the art gallery and cafe, however even that experience is enough to rate the whole place in 5 ???? .
It is a truly unique place. It's soaked with art and old Arabian culture, there are no regular or ordinary details in design. I spent almost 15 minutes just walking around the cafe only looking at paintings, furniture, decor, etc. There is a huge tree right in the middle of the cafe, that grows through the roof! Isn't it amazing!
I assume that the hotel might be lacking some modern facilities, as it's located in the old Arabian style building and they are preserving the same vibes and environment inside. However XVA hotel is the place to stay for a different kind of experience: to get in touch with an Old Dubai, with it's history, to see old days lifestyle. XVA is conveniently located close to various museums too.

This was such a fun place to stay. There are many different places to lounge or sit down with a book at the hotel, and you can hear the prayers from the nearby mosque quite clearly.

Great hotel within a gorgeous walled pedestrian area full of little shops, cafes, art galleries and cultural rooms.
Smooth check in, exquisite rooms, tastefully decorated, comfortable bed, huge shower, selection of Pillows, tea& coffee facilities, Hairdryer, bath robes and air con.
Fabulous rooftop courtyard area to relax, read a book or snooze
Very close to the mosque and within walking distance if you wish to take an abra to more gold souqs
Perfect location, all the staff were helpful and friendly and the cafe on the ground floor has the most amazing menu, the superfood salad was the best I've ever tasted, delicious coffees and something for everyone
