This is my second time visiting Zagol.. the food is tasty, not too spicy.. the *bread* or the crepe has some sourness, which is the typical taste.. we ordered one big plate with sampling dishes and a separate dry meat dish. after that, we had Ethipian Traditional coffee, it comes with incense and complimentary pop corn.. the coffee was very nice,, a bit strong, but I like my coffee strong... the staff is very friendly and accommodating.. the restaurant is small but cozy..

I’ve never tried Ethiopian cuisine before, I’m glad I did today for the first time.

I loved the restaurant vibes, the decorations and the colours are so authentic and I felt like I was in Ethiopia.

The staff working there is really courteous and friendly.

The food is really delicious for a reasonable price.

Location wise a little bit busy cause it’s in Karama, apart from that everything is outstanding.

Pretty, cute, must go!

It is a small place and you’d hardly notice it unless you already know about it! My friend is kind of high street and was rolling eyes but we went in anyway.

The food is pretty good, traditional Ethiopian cuisine. The three of us ordered one big plate, vegetarian because the high street one doesn’t eat meat! ????
The bread was too sour to suit my taste but I developed the taste by end of it.

I loved the ambience, the authenticity and the presentation of the food.

The lady who was running the place helped me learn the alphabets which are written at the billing desk there. It was pretty cool and very sweet of her! She taught me how to introduce myself in Ethiopian but I’ve forgotten that now ????

They only take cash payments so prep before you go.

One of the best cuisines I’ve had in a while, the restaurant was cosy and the service was very good.Take cash with you as they don’t have a POS machine.

The food was below average. The Injera was extremely sour, the sides were excessively tangy. Felt bloated after eating. Just not the experience I had hoped for. Never going back again. No no no! Never ever!!

Delicious! Best Ethiopian food in Dubai! Came here with 2 friends for dinner and we were well fed. The restaurant is small so it’s not ideal for big groups. We ordered the meat platter, it took about 45 minutes to be ready which wasn’t good but the food was worth the wait! We also ordered lemon mint juice which was refreshing! Also loved the ambiance! We will be back!

Favourite area to walk & cycle in the park, lots of nature all around under a canopy of age old trees. Bow & the Hertford Union Canal one side and the wide open expanse of grass with the Hub Cafe to the other. In the summer the grass is filled with the east London best and is proper vibes innit
