Nellie recently graduated from the Puppy Academy and we cannot recommend Jo enough. She’s great with all the pups and has a lot of patience when teaching them new things. She provides ongoing support which continues even after the pups have graduated and is only ever a text away if you need anything! Thanks Jo

I recently attended Puppy Academy with Jo who was a massive help with my puppy Reggie. Jo is a calming, experienced and super knowledgeable dog lover who was there for me when I wasn't sure I could cope anymore!! The initial Zoom sessions were a brilliant way of meeting new people in similar situations and learning a lot before we could take Reggie out on walks, then the socialisation sessions were really fun and informative. Thanks Jo :)

They have always been excellent with all of my German shepherds, been with them over 25 years and never had any problems, so wouldn't trust anyone else with my dog

We were treated with kindness & concern from the initial telephone call & through to appointment following our cat's car accident. Best clinical options & possible outcomes explained clearly, costs honest. Estover reception staff especially lovely. Thank you.

I would highly recommend this vets. They've been a great help with my older rescue dog and also my new puppy. I know plenty of friends that have had positive experiences with their pets also (Cats, Rabbits, Dogs etc.)

Genuine recommendation to anyone looking for a vets in Plymouth for their pets

My new Puppy has just completed her Puppy Class run by Joanne. Jo has done a fantastic job teaching an old dog new tricks (me) she really guided me in areas I thought I knew and showed me where I was going right when I thought I was going wrong 10/10

I had to bring my ragdoll kitten to this vet I believe he had a fit. I was extremely surprised at the service I recieved . They rushed my baby straight in no hesitation . They were thorough quick and extremely open about it . They do an amazing job I would recommend this practice to everyone they are amazing . Luckily enough my didn't need treatment I believe he had a fit or a bit of sun stroke . But no medication was needed. But he could have and I thank them so much for just being there to help my baby if he needed it

My normal vets don't offer an out of hours service, so this is the sister vet. Never had a problem until today. Had a very poorly ferret so rang up at around 7pm, I mentioned to the man on the phone I wouldn't be able to pay there and then and would have to be a late payment form, he said this was fine and booked me in for the next day (bank holiday monday). About 5 minutes later I ring as I wanted her in for today instead as she was becoming increasingly poorly. I said the same thing to the woman on the phone, that I wouldn't be able to pay today and would need a late payment form. She said that was fine and she would get management to give me a call on the Tuesday to sort things out.

I get in there and my ferret needs antibiotics and pain relief. Go to pick them up and say the same thing to the nurse as I did the other two on the phone. She said there's nothing on the notes so she would have to check with the vet. She comes back and tells me I have to pay just for the medication today, which was fine.

I was outside trying to sort the money, I come back in and I am then told by the nurse I have to pay the full amount instead and I am not allowed to leave with the medication without paying the full amount and I wasn't allowed to sign the delayed payment form.

Fast forward a bit of backwards and forwards, the actual vet then comes out and tells me she never said I couldn't sign the form, even though the nurse standing next to her just did say that. I explain to them I have the money for the medication as originally asked but they said they still want the full amount as the medication was not classed as an "emergency".

Not only was I told I could sign a form, I was then told I only had to pay for the medication, then to be told I have to pay the full amount, in the space of about 5 minutes. All while my ferret has an abscess on her throat and is poorly and we wouldn't have been able to get any medication for another 2 days due to the bank holiday.

I was lied to and each person told me a different story. Absolutely disgusting how they treated the entire situation. Was given no compassion or kindness and was treated terribly as they couldn't get their stories straight of what they wanted.

Excellent service. I attended the puppy academy with my pup Winter and we learned a lot. I cannot praise it enough, it was fantastic and the lady jo who runs the group is absolutely great. I have learned so much from her. She is kind , fun, and excellent with the pups. I would recommend to anyone any age. No matter how many puppies you’ve had in the past. 5 stars.
