Seamless experience & we got placed on a earlier ferry, which was going to Dunkirk & that was closer for us to get to Belgium. I'd recommended paying extra for the lounge as it's so lovely & quiet in there & loads of snacks, patisseries & drinks both hot & cold. The staff are amazing. Will definitely use DFDS again.

Very good journey. Unfortunately, in due to long queue in the customs, we missed our ferry but without no issues (or additional fee) we were able to get next one. Premium lounge is a good option, especially when you travelling with small kids. While you are waiting for the ferry there are few shops/places to eat: Burger King; WHSmith and Starbucks.

I have no complaints at all. I was on a motorbike and went through passport control with no problems, onto the ship and given lots of help. I used the premium lounge and was the only person in it - I would absolutely recommend. They lose a star for their naff WiFi which was patchy at best. (Remember not to use mobile data as even if you have roaming included it doesn't apply on the water )

What can I say it was a check in, it went smoothly and we had no delay. The gent forgot to give us our lounge code but drove over to find us so he could give it to us.

Good service for the price you paid. Food is ok, and considering there is nowhere else to go for a meal the price is quite reasonable. The place is clean and roomy, unless there's school holidays. It might be a bit noisy. LOL. But it is really a short trip and if the weather is right it is a pleasant trip.

Great ferry company. The loading of the cars and trucks were good and on all the occasions I used dfds ferrry service the ferry always left on time. So sofar only food experience. The staff onboard is nice and friendly. However the duty free shop as well as the food and drinks are really expensive. So bring some sandwiches and juice or water .

It went really fast, we even went with the early ferry so we arrived about 2 hours earlier than planned. Had an amazing sunset on deck at departure. On board there is enough to do. Shops, restaurants a few game machines and enough place to sit. You can bring your own food and drinks. Would recommend to bring a few playing cards with you because the onboard wifi is not that strong... Other than that everything went fast and easy.

everything was fine. A ferry was on time. lovely staff are taking care for you. a lot of places to eat seat and rest during travel. totally recommended
