Really nice place for hiking. Green mountain. Beautiful eye view.Good picnic spot as well. Busy time parking space could be problem.

Beautiful place for a walk. Unfortunately very busy at weekends. Queuing to cross a river in February? There are more stunning locations in The Peak District, but I won't review them for fear of them becoming overrun like this. Come spring and summer it won't be possible to enjoy it at all.

Perfect hill for a Sunday trek ... in other words easy like Sunday morning ... or more precisely, a great place to walk in such beautiful natural surroundings! You can be around dozens of times and it's always great.

It was amazing trip. My children really loved it. Easy to climb with children and amazing views once at the top.

Beautiful place, stunning views, lovely walks. The climb up to Thorpe Cloud is not too difficult and the more adventurous can take the steeper paths!

Bit tricky making the final bit of the climb to the summit of Thorpe Cloud, but boy, was it worth it.
Be aware that the pathways on several of the descents have been severely worn and are quite treacherous with loose hardcore.

Simply amazing. There is a paid car park nearby open until 5 pm only. So look for another car park downhill and park there. You have the option to go uphill may take about an hour and then come back and take a walk along the Dovedale water stream, a small river and explore the spots like hill, caves, etc. In total the walk may take couple of hours if you want to cover all. You can instead just have a picnic or lie down in the green grass. Look at the photo I have attached in the review to get more details on the walk.
