Great trail, I’d recommend doing the longer red route which has some great viewing platforms, one floating on the water. The red trail is quite physical with some big steps but easy to navigate. If you want to have a greater chance of spotting beavers I would recommend taking a pair of binoculars and visiting around early morning or dusk.

I have seen beavers on this experience but I was tagging along with the guided tours these guys do here. To best see the beavers, it is essential the surface of the water is flat, so going when there is no wind gives you the potential chance to spot the beavers. This is due to when the beavers swim, they slightly poke their heads above the surface of the water, and if the wind is blowing the water, slight wave ripples will make it difficult to spot the beavers.

The team is lovely up at the center. They let me stay the night in the cabin as I was wild camping. From the center (Just a short walk from the Loch (smaller loch), they have a feeding table and it will attract red squirrels, seen in the photo below.

Walking around both the lochs give you an insight into the breathtakingly Scottish lochs and wildlife you can spot here.
Highly recommended.

We visited the visitor centre and the view at the top of the hill is beautiful and we watched osprey hunt. We didn’t see any beavers unfortunately but we did see their den. A lovely part of Scotland.

We walked around the larger Loch during the day and evidence of beaver activities were amazing. We then stayed over in the car park for an extra night and got up at 5am the following morning. Positioning ourselves in a hide ...we were rewarded by sighting a beaver bringing and munching his lunch,!

Really cool to see the evidence of Beavers in the area, and cool to see the viewpoint. The path to the viewpoint may look overgrown, but continue and you reach a picnic bench, which is the viewpoint, with spectacular panoramic views, and you can also see in the distance the Iron Age fort. The walks are great, so would highly recommend going here.

Worth a walk around both Lochs if you have time. Paths are pretty good. Unlikely to see a beaver in the daytime but can see their impact. A lovely, peaceful location.

Enjoyed walking the trails here during a daytime visit. Not much chance of spotting beavers during the daytime, but an abundance of evidence and plenty of other investing fits and fauna meant it s still a wonderful place to visit. There is ample parking and some useful information boards, and the well-marked lochside trails in particular offer beautiful views.
