If you are thinking about booking a room here I would strongly recommend it, it’s beautiful!!!

The rooms are amazingly clean and the housekeeping colleagues made us feel very at home with talks about the local areas, they are very good at their work as the rooms were immaculate with everyone working there was so attentive, polite and friendly, down to the managers, reception and restaurant colleagues. it’s one of the best places I’ve stayed, honestly press the book button you won’t regret it!!!

From walking in to leaving everything was seamless and always with a smile, food is 10/10 just as a cherry on the top - location is also ideal if you plan on traveling around and adventuring like we did. so glad we booked this place for 3 nights, had a lovely time, thank you for having us :) from room 17

We had dinner here while and holiday and it was the best meal we'd had during the week.

The restaurant is lovely and very bright and airy.

The waitress was really friendly and attentive.

The food was amazing. Starters were the right size and the main meal was delicious.

Highly recommend and will be back again.

What a fabulous Hotel and would highly recommend for both stay and dining. The staff are so friendly and professional with it. Rooms are spotless and the food well…, is cooked and served beautifully. I shall definitely be returning xxx Thank you

What a lovely experience.
Just popped I for lunch and it was amazing. Warm welcome excellent service and a good choice of the menu.
Everything was lovely. I was a little disappointed with my lemon cheese cake it was missing the strong lemon flavour. But that was trivial compared to the rest of the food.

Great hotel, new and very nice decoration with big and quiet rooms. The breakfast is delicious and all the staff is very kind and helpful. Lovely location too, in the middle of Cornwall. Definitely coming back!!

Just had an excellent Sunday lunch. Great food at a reasonable price. Have visited here (and it's sister The Lewinnick Lodge) many times with friends and family and cannot fault it. Will be back again. Staff very efficient and friendly.

The staff are amazing and very friendly and the room was clean specious and comfortable.

The evening meal on the other hand was absolutely abysmal.
I asked for a Blue steak and fries and I got a medium at best steak and Thrice cooked Chips. As soon as the chips came out I mentioned i ordered fries so this was changed very quickly.
After this is when I found out the steak was not cooked to what I ordered. I did mention this to staff but by this time I'd lost my appetite. If you can't cook a simple steak and Fries to someone's specifications then you shouldn't be cooking anything.
Well rant over on the food.
Would definitely return for the rooms they are amazing.

Second time I have been here (first time was last year) and I had forgotten how good the food is. The menu is not vast and fools you into thinking you will be having pub grub - trust me this is waaaay better than pub grub. It’s amazing. Go out of your way to eat here, you won’t regret it.
