Ideal for: Everyone fantastic estate!

Key Info: Booking required after 16 Sept. A fantastic place for a picnic.

Pros:
- Parking available
- Plenty of beautiful landscaping and gardens
- Toilets
- Coffee shop and tea room
- This is a must go in autumn the gardens, trees and ponds make this a fantastic trip for a picnic
- Main door staff were lovely and super helpful

Cons:
- Broken toilets and only the unisex working
- The tearoom staff was not pleased to see customers

Stunning place to visit. We try to go several times a year as the season change the trees look fantastic! On the right day with no wind the lakes turn into mirrors. If you enjoy photography it's great. Also keep an eye out for the big fish in the bottom lake.

Beautiful grounds to explore at anytime of year they have a book shop and tearoom loads of fun to be had would recommend

The carpark itself is a bit tight with an estate car,but the park is absolutely stunning

Brilliant place. Went on a photography tour with a former professional. Tried to understand what I could. Wish my hips didn’t ache so much. Would have liked to walk further (one of the bridges over the lake was unsafe so you had to do another long loop to reach some places (which I missed). Two cafes. Larger one nearest the car park is very good. Latter part of the photo tour was concerned with post production which I could not grasp at all. My fault not his. Others present seemed to follow well enough.
Did not detract from the marvelous parkland gardens. Worth several visits.
Ample parking while I was there.

There are bookable mobility scooters and double mobility scooters available.
Whilst the main paths can get a little busy there are quieter back routes as well - tho not all wheel chair accessible.
Still some lovely autumn colour at 4th November, though many leaves down.

Allotted slots for entry to the gardens, all very civilised and a pleasant experience
