I am a regular customer and I've never ever thought of using other companies, My last crossing was a nightmare, there was a mistake because the lady didn't scan one of the passports Meanwhile I have booked for the number of the supposed to be with me.
Instead of dealing with it with me ,they called police which was unnecessary also makes us look like she called the police without even checking my paperwork.

Good experience on our trip from Calais to Dover. Comfortable boat, large and reasonably luxurious (Spirit of Britain).

We had an Irish Ferries ship take us across the other way and it seemed that P&O just unloaded much more slowly. Perhaps I’m being unreasonably impatient but if a trip is said to arrive at a certain time, I’d expect that to be the time the first car leaves - why such a delay from docking to the first vehicles leaving?

Anyway, I’m nitpicking - what else am I gonna do, swim? ????

My car and my passengers got across 20mi of 250ft deep water and I can’t swim so I’m pretty happy with the service provided.

Good experience on P&O ferry, Dover to Calais. Nice services on board. Duty free shopping, Starbucks. Efficient service, left on time, everything well organised from booking to travel.

My first time going on the ferry and it was such a lovely experience. You don’t feel like your on a ferry at all. If sat by a window you get a lovely view of the waves and boats passing by. Very clean I was surprised at how clean It was. On board entertainment for kids, usually there’s a magic show but because there were only 3 kids the man kindly made them all an animal balloon. Plenty of things to do there’s an arcade there’s a family lounge vip lounge pet lounge food floor, lots to keep you busy. My only issue is that food is overpriced, a baguette can cost £5 and doesn’t taste good. Better to bring your own food. If the hot food is available there are good pizza deals such as a 10 inch pizza and two bottles of drink for £12.

Not too busy, and they put us on an earlier boat. Loading was quick, and the ferry was on time. Ship looked like it had seen better days, but food and duty-free were okay.

Please, put a huge notice message when buying foot passenger tickets indicating that you have to be there at least 90 minutes before the trip. It's no use for the passenger to receive an email with that information after the purchase. I know now that the specifications are on the T&Cs but it would be more useful to have a message before buying

Good but the ferry is fairly unclean and run down. English terminal is rubbish and the French terminal is run by DFDS. Overall 3/5

After news about delays we were prepared for queues, but the journey from Dover to Calais was extremely smooth, and I really loved sitting on the deck enjoying the view in the sunshine.
Sadly the return journey Calais to Dover was not such a positive experience, where it took an hour to get from check in to border control, and then there were delays leaving and docking.
I actually love travelling by ferry, but will not buy food and drink again if using P&O. Poor choice/quality, slow service and all the staff seemed pretty miserable.
I really don't enjoy leaving more negative reviews, but I feel it wouldn't take much for P&O to act on feedback, and look again at the catering provision and staff training.
