Highland Heritage was brilliant. The Alexandra Hotel in Oban was lovely and has a great view out the front. I can't remember the coach drivers name but he was brilliant, telling jokes, giving out information about various locations as we went along, stopping at various places for people to take photographs, and even had Edinburgh Shortbread biscuits and bottled water for sale if anyone wanted them.

The evening hotel was really good. I can remember one particular entertainer called Gary Macalba Spiers, who shared his knowledge of scotland with us by telling us stories and singing songs.

It's a real shame they're not trading anymore as I really enjoyed the holiday. I was planning on going again.

I would like to say a huge thank you to you and your staff for a great holiday in Oban during the last week in October.

The room was perfect for my mother and myself with a private conservatory where she could rest and watch the harbour traffic. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. The food was excellent. The staff were extremely polite and helpful. The Highland concert was superb. The only slight fault was the water pressure in our shower.

We enjoyed ourselves so much we have booked again in April to come back to Oban for a second holiday. We also look forward to visiting the Ben Doran Hotel in late December on a Turkey and Tinsel tour.

We were very impressed with the trip we took from Liverpool to Oban.
We stayed at the Alexandra hotel and the rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, the food was excellent and the entertainment was good.
A three-star hotel with five-star service!

The excursions were interesting with Alan, the main driver was informative and quite comedic.

All in all, one of the best value holidays we've had!

My husband and I have just returned from a fantastic 5 day break at the Alexandra hotel in Oban. We were upgraded at no extra expense to ourselves to a super ground floor bedroom overlooking the bay and everything was perfect. We have had several very enjoyable holidays with this company who are always ready to go the extra mile for their customers and we are looking forward to our next trip in June. I can't thank them enough.

We have just returned from a lovely touring holiday with Highland Heritage. We were based in Oban and stayed at the Alexandra Hotel. The hotel is comfortable and the food is good and plentiful with good choices although it is fairly basic, good soups fish and meat courses and desserts, but don't expect anything fancy.. In the evening there was some entertainment. usually a singer and a small dance floor. Some people went out into Oban in the evenings as there is a large choice of pubs and entertainment to be had. The tours were interesting and the highlands of Scotland are just breathtakingly beautiful. I always think that any company can do well when everything is running smoothly but the really good companies are the ones who can handle it well when things go wrong. On Saturday we were meant to go on the ferry to the Isles of Mull and Iona. However through no fault whatsoever of Highland Heritage our ferry broke down with steering problems and the trip was cancelled. Within minutes of getting this news our driver was keeping us informed of what was happening and why it was happening. He was on the phone to his head office and within a quarter of an hour we were given an alternative trip and people who still wanted to visit Mull were told that they could go the next day. We were offered an alternative and chose to go to the Hollow Mountain instead (which we found fascinating)..Our driver Alan stayed cool and organised and kept us in the loop all the time. He is a credit to Highland Heritage and I hope they appreciate him. He dealt with all the complications and the complaints in an efficient and friendly way. We will go back and visit Mull and Iona next time.

A very relaxing holiday for my Mother and I. Having never been on a coach tour before we were pleasantly surprised at what it had to offer. Splendid views, a warm and welcoming hotel and gained knowledge on a fantastic area.

Very informative, very friendly and very helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Big thanks to the animated coach driver who made our trip so memorable.

My husband and I were on Highland Heritage Tours some years ago. They were fabulous. Great coach trips. Lovely food. Good entertainment. Brilliant friendly staff. Everything was organised for you. Great value. In fact you couldn't beat the price. We are thinking of going this year. When I am over my operation.

So so disappointed. We used these in 2013 and was so exited in the prospect in going back. I get their booking line is down, but when you call them, it's as if they hate the English! You actually hear them tut and sigh when you ask if they can call you back when they are up and running. I thought it was me until I called again another day. Yet again I was met with sarcasm. I told them I was concerned as only 10 places left, she scoffed and said if you can't book nor can they. I said I get your logic, but what if they call earlier than me due to their free time... she actually said "Just give me your number" wow... tourism pays your wages guys. Speak to customers like you want their money, not hard to understand.
