We had the most wonderful and easiest experience since we use dfds,we just left UK (1600 hrs ferry for Dunkirk) and the lady at the departure office was one of the nicest persons we ever encountered at your desks.really great start to our holiday having to deal with such lovely staff and service at your site and to top it out the lady in charge of looking after the passengers for the relax lounge was really friendly and helpful as well.
Congratulations, and thank you on this occasion, DFDS, as your staff really made our crossing a nice experience

They couldn't make it any easier. I arrived at Dover and entered the ferry terminal and drove straight up to the DFDS check in. I handed over my passport and they found my booking straight away. They handed my passport back along with a ticket to hang in my car and directed me towards Lane 50, which are all clearly numbered. All I had to do then was to wait for the ferry. Shame there were no places to get a coffee there.

I pass through the Dover departures check in on numerous occasions each year. I am always pleased with the reception. Check in is always fast and efficient with only the need to present our passports. The staff are always friendly and they do their best to get me on the next available ferry if I happen to turn up earlier than scheduled. Recently I was travelling with family members who have mobility issues. This was no problem at all. They had already noted my request for assistance and offered both wheelchair help and parking in the ferry close to the lift. All good!

Very smooth trip on the ferry. Food service and duty free shop available on board.

Free flow through customs and check in,although it might be as we sailed late hours. Friendly staff. We always sail via DFDS when ever we drive to Europe.

Pleasant trip over again. Customs people do thier job and the DFDS people were nice and did a good job. Only thing was the last time we came over the breakfast was for free and this time I had to part with 11.95.

We decided to make use of the premium lounge on this return trip ( 12 hour road trips require good rest stops!)

The lounge and staff were exceptional, more so on the outward bound journey ( dunkirk to dover)

Not just delicious but also a great variety of refreshments plus lounge sectionals whereby my husband could sleep for 2 hrs. I would highly recommend this service.

Well, we all know that is a long waiting place, so no question about this. What I liked is that when travelling with my dog, I was welcomed with a bottle of water and a cup of dog treats from the Check in lady and that was a very nice gesture from DFDS. Thank you! By the way, the journey was pleasant, quick and we'll organised.
