Ruined castle outside Kilmartin. Free to park and enter the castle. Access via a gravel 0.5mile track, then a stone path with steps up the hillside. Very well kept although not to much information on the site. Well worth a visit.

Great views from the battlements down the valley. Free entry and car park also free. Dogs allowed. Might struggle with a buggy as it's on quite a hill.

Loved the view. 5+ minutes week from the carpark, a bit steep. Stairs up the tower are small. Don't go up with little children.

A really impressive Castle ruin and a good walk around too ???? We went mid week and didn’t see anyone. We had dogs on holiday and you do need to keep them on lead when outside the castle grounds as loads of sheep around ???? Kilmartin standing stones nearby

Not a long walk, but well worth the visit. Well maintained grounds and being able to go up the staircase of the castle ruins to the top of the tower and take in the surrounding views was great

Car parking at roadside with a lengthy uphill walk to reach the castle. Unusually you have access to explore the ruins and climb the spiral turnpike stairs. No toilets or refreshments at this isolated rural location.

Fantastic places. Worth the short walk up to Castke from Car Park.
It's Deffinatky worth a visit if your passing.

Amazing castle. Love that you can explore the whole place with no restrictions. Young children will need supervising as you can climb up the tower. Beautiful views. Really well maintained.
