Whilst we had been past here (and to the pub) several times we had never ventured to the green. With the kids in tow we thought we would go to the play park and have a wonder round the green. It helped it was a nice day and we just took a circular route accross the recreation area and then past the pond (unfortunatly currently dried up!) and lake (quite a lot of vegetation growing here but you could tell it was there). Good place for a stroll.

parking is located just off the main road with plenty or space, lovely local pub called The Swan Inn located on the corner just before you turn off the main road for the parking very frindly staff, but this is Lovely place to visit for a walk with the failmy and the dogs there is a children's play park onsite with seating and if your lucky you might get to see the trains going past over head on the bridge

Lovely quiet afternoon at this very peaceful place. Plenty of space for the kids and dogs. Very well kept.

Lovely place to take the family for a walk and a play around. Nice play area. Only issue is the access. When we went we had to lift our double buggy over the fence as there is an anti-bike gate at the entrance (although a small mobility scooter will fit)

Lovely place for a walk with dogs or kids. Playground and pub nearby for play and refreshments.

Great for walking the dog and lots of different habitats for wildlife

This park could not be more tucked away. Once there though it's well worth the visit. It has a play park and a scenic walk, great for jogging or dog walking, and allows you to get up close with the viaduct, taking photos in it or just being impressed with it's larger than life size.

Just right for a quiet little stroll, dominated by the magnificent viaduct. Easy to park and has a handy pub right next door.
