When we turned up the accommodation was lovely and warm and well maintained. It has plenty of seating and a good sized TV to curl up on with the log burner on. We ended up turning the heating off on some nights as the log burner heats everything up lovely.
The whole place was clean, with a well equipped kitchen including a slow cooker and coffee machine which was a bonus.
The beds were clean and comfortable and with 2 bathrooms even the rush from the hot tub to shower was catered for.
Outside the hot tub was great with a good temperature for the chilly evenings and again advice on what to do including some pre-measured sachets of chlorine to keep the tub running smoothly.
The games room was fun it’s been a while since I played air hockey and table football. Still managed to beat the teenagers. Garden was secure and big enough for our 2 dogs but with walks on the doorstep they were tired out anyway.
This is a great base for the area with loads of walks and a decent pub and cafe in the town, literally minutes away on foot.
Looked all over for a place that ticks the boxes like this one does.
