An oasis of Brixham history and a great place to visit if it's raining.

Very friendly volunteers running it, free entry. Donation box at the end for those who have the means and want to give some cash.

A mixture of exhibits, photos and stories fill the museum which used to be the local police station.

A relaxing way to learn more about Brixham and its people.

A brilliant place packed with lots of interesting items.
The two ladies who work there were so kind and helpful, especially with my 3 year old son. They are a credit to the museum.
I’m not from the area and was made to feel so welcome so we will definitely be back when we next visit Brixham.
There are lots of toys on the top floor and dress up clothes which my son thoroughly enjoyed.

Great little museum full of amazing facts, a little off the beaten track but still quite easy to find. A good place to visit for people of all ages and over the road from a pub which is always a bonus!

A lovely little museum set in the old police station. A great cultural experience with a range of exhibits about Brixham and it's past.

We found that the heritage museum was far larger than we expected. It was run by enthusiatic volunteers and feature a lot of very interesting items from various instances in Brixhams history. The stairs might be a bit too steep for some but the exhibits on the ground floor were very well presented. One can easily see from the age of some exhibits that the enthusism for showing the towns history isnt just a recent thing. Its a worthwhile place to go on any day.

Lovely little local museum. Lots of personal histories and quaint artefacts.
Free to enter but the enthusiasm of the volunteers deserves your support.
Good for a rainy day but watch for limited winter opening.
