It’s a short walk from Robin Hoods view, so both the same day is very easy.
Not to far from a couple of villages with good pubs.
Not too busy when we visited, so ideal for good people free photo opportunities.
Like I said above, a well worn path takes you safely up. On a clear day like we had you can see for miles.

Hermit would lead travellers to safety off from the ancient Portway Trail.
Cave features a long stone platform where it is said that he slept, an alcove carved out for his candle to sit and a 4 foot etched crucifix on the cave wall dating back to the 14th century
