Very expensive parking for what amounts to a cafe in some fields. We hoped the spiel from the friendly car park attendant " It's £5 to park but you get a token for our cafe for £2 off your food, but its beautiful parkland and there are some deer in the distance and a nice river" would live up to the hype. Sadly, it really is a few large fields to walk across, next to a river, and there are no gardens to speak of. The cafe was good, excellent coffee and cakes, but the price, even with the £2 discount, was extremely expensive. Over £11 for 2 cakes and a tea and a coffee, plus the extra £3 we paid for parking. If the parking was free, I'd consider going again if I felt like a treat, but it's not, so I won't.

Attended an Artisan Fair here. The views across the rolling hills of the park are beautiful. A climbing road towards the house with plenty of parking alongside. If your lucky as you come to the top the deer will be there to great you. In front of you is an imposing white Grade I listed classic Georgian house built in early Regency style. Commanding its position on the hill.Sympathetic orangery adjacent houses the cafe with fresh coffee, tea cakes and lunch.Beautiful chapel behind the house has gorgeous views as you come out the door across the parkland. Bridewell also offers weddings and an extensive events calendar throughout the year. Parkland is open for a walk, dogs on a lead please for the deers sake.
Top Tip 1. If going for lunch get there early as it's always busy.
Top Tip 2. Make a day of it if there is an event on Plenty of space to play games.

A bit of open ground and a lovely house in the background. Used to be free entry but now charge a few pounds per person entry. Monthly markets which are quite fun. But not top of lost of venues.Sorry.

This event for Fireworks Night, organised by Lord Ivor and James, was absolutely outstanding. The organisation was first class, marshalls, including Lord Ivor himself (respect), assisted entry to their lovely grounds, the stalls with a wide variety of food were brilliant, the Fireworks were just fabulous and the whole evening made us proud and lucky to have secured tickets. Lord Ivor and James are a great couple who know how to put on an equally great event. Very well done and worth every penny.

Visited today and I couldn’t fault a thing. All the staff were very friendly and lunch delicious.
Definitely worth the visit and I will be returning.

Great little pop-up coffee shop. Well organised, reasonable prices and terrific polenta cake! The very kind and generous owners of the estate allow you to walk the grounds and dogs must be kept on a lead. Loved it.
