We just had a fantastic two days fishing with Captain Chin. The boat is very kid friendly, and my two boys loved the experience. We caught Dorado, Yellow Fin Tuna, Hammour, Barracuda, Rainbow Runner and lots of other fish. December is meant to be a slower month for fishing but that wasn’t our experience thanks to Captain Chin, if we didn’t find fish in one spot we quickly moved to another spot and were put on the fish! All the fish were cleaned for us to take home. And to top it all off, we had a flat battery in our car when we went to go home, and Captain Chin kindly arranged for a friend to come and give us a jump start to get home!

Really enjoyable trip with Captain Chin. Thank you to Rebecca for all the information, as a newbie I thought I would be out of my depth however we came home with a cooler full of Dorado. Loved the trip, loved learning about all the varieties of fish in these waters and can't wait to book again.

Awesome half day trip. The guys were really friendly and helpful and we caught fish all day. They know exactly where to go and we caught so many fish we had to start throwing them back

All around TOP class business. The best sportsman fishing in the UAE is with Soolyman Sport Fishing. Captain Devin is one of the best. Hits the best spots and sets the best lines. Short drive from Dubai but it’s totally worth it. The best fishing is in the Gulf of Oman. Afterwards the local restaurant in the marina will cook up your catch. I HIGHLY recommend Soolyman Sport Fishing to anyone in the UAE looking to have a great time and catch the best fish around!! Ask for Devin as your captain!! You won’t regret.

Inexperienced crew. We caught 0 fish, and felt the last half part of our trip was just driving impatiently from one tanker to another. Dispite being told by management the season was good, once on boat, captain claims the season was bad and summer seasons were better. 5 hours on a small boat and no fish. Fish finder didn't seem to help either. The Management did not seem very kind or service oriented. Overall, not happy and will not recommend.

I know they are a game fishing charter company but to be able to adapt the fishing trip to include some time to follow the dolphins was really awesome and totally captured the hearts of our children. The crew were also more than happy to teach the younger ones how to handle the gear properly.

Definitely recommend for a family experience!

We will be back!

The boat is in good shape but a bit pointeless as the fishing equipment (mainly the lures) was very limited. We were 5 on the boat and could barely use 2 to 3 rods.
Bonite fish were jumping all around us, other boats were catching fish one after the other and we couldn’t catch anything because of the very limited lures on the boat.
The crew didn’t speak English, and didn’t seem to know what they were doing.
Very disappointing when you pay 2800 AED, and when the manager reply to your feedback that “you should have checked the equipment before” and “next time you should choose another company!”

I have been fishing for the last 20y, and was very disappointed by the way this is handled.

Ideally located to explore Rhayader, but not a lot to see there to be honest, it was just a stop off on the way to the Elan Valley for me.

There are several disabled car parking spaces and a toilet block.

The car park is located just a two minute walk from the town centre.

At the time of visiting, June 2023, the charges were £2.50 for two hours.

Tickets are non transferable as you need to enter part of your registration number.

Both cash and cards are accepted at the machines.

Quiet little town on the A470. It has a carpark with public toilets just off the A470. It's a short walk (2-3 mins) to the shops, cafés etc.

Just off the main road, plenty of spaces. It costs a pound for an hour and has toilets. 2 minutes work from the shops :-)

So overpriced for parking to visit the local shops or walk the river path. This is the reason high streets are failing, overpriced parking. Make it free for all to use

Good access to white line parking and usually plenty of options for either reverse parking or forward parking, depending on your urges that day. Public toilets available which are always welcome, especially if you need a wee that coincides with a parking demand. Personally, I used the toilet as my motivation for parking, although I did enjoy the parking, which was a bonus. All in all, well worth a visit.

Toilets are nearly always open.very clean & tidy, plenty of parking spaces. And shops and Caffe just near by. While resting here we spotted and heard a very large bird of prey. Hence the photos.
