So I have mixed feelings about this place. Good service and they really do try. But, for a place that calls itself a steak house. To be served a overcooked steak that is about a third fat I wouldn’t say it was worth the price we payed. Apart from the steak being over cooked, the rest of the food was lovely but still overpriced for what you get in my opinion. The truffle parmesan fries were especially nice. So take your own opinion from that tale of a review.

While visiting Excel London, We went to med grill for burgers. Service was bad and slow, They had only one cooking for the burgers which was well done, The food was served cold and the prices were quite high. It’s rare that I have no good words to say but this is one of the cases

The same song was literally on repeat, 4 staff struggled to cover 8 tables, and a steak, bowl of pasta and veggie burger took 70 minutes to prepare. I get that it's a Monday but this was abmismal, if at least polite. The food itself was fine, but not much more than I would expect from a chain pub.

Had a lovely meal it was ribeye steak cooked medium rare it was delicious with chunky chips with truffle and parmesan cheese on, so yummy. My friend and I had quite a few cocktails the waiter Tom bought us a few more different ones to try on the house, they were really nice so we ordered some. All the staff were friendly. All of our meals were good. Had a good laugh with Tom, he made our evening. Good food, great cocktail and good service. Not a cheap meal but what you would expect to pay in London.
Would go back if I'm that area again.

Popped in here for dinner with some friends whilst on a conference. Service was friendly and we were seated right away. The restaurant is clean and nicely decorated. Unfortunately the food wasn’t up to much, all the steaks we had were pretty average, nothing better than you would get at a Wetherspoons. One of our party went for the “Surf and Turf” upgrade and received two very emaciated prawns, neither of which had more than a mouthful of meat between them. Side dishes were acceptable but nothing to write home about. All in all, not recommended

Dined here whilst attending a work conference, the food was delicious and very well priced. The staff couldn't do more for us, a great selection of drinks. Aloud us back in to watch sport when no one else showed it. We're already looking to book there for next year/future events. Highly recommended.

We came here for dinner and had a great time. The service was great, all the employees made sure everything was good and kept checking on us. The food was really good, I had the Bavette steak with fries and green beans and a chimichurri butter sauce. My husband had the chicken sandwich with onion rings. The fries were super crispy and yummy and the steak was tender and tasty. The standout though was their sticky toffee pudding. It was served warm with ice cream and raspberries and was probably the best I've had. I kinda wish I'd ordered a second one lol. I would come back here for the service alone but it helps that the food was also good.

The staff try really hard & deserve praise, they're approachable & friendly, happy to answer any food queries or check on missing orders. The restaurant is expensive but it is steak & that's going to cost you in London. The steaks tend to be overcooked - we ordered a Bavette medium & Sirloin medium rare, what we got was a medium to well & medium. This was disappointing, especially when you're paying £27-£36 for just a piece of steak (no sides included) that isn't cooked to your liking.
I recommend the Ranch Slaw side, creamy, crunchy & delicious but the Parmesan Truffle fries were just ok. The fries on top had no truffle flavour & barely noticeable parmesan shavings, but the fries towards the bottom had lots of both, so you're eating more than halfway through it before you taste the flavours you're paying for.
Coffee was a tragedy, my Latte made by auto push button machine tasted like dirty dish water, but they happily replaced it with a properly barista made one & that wasn't good either as the burnt flavour was overpowering. Good coffee is a precise science, you can have a great product but knowing how to tap it correctly to obtain a strong robust flavour without a bitter or burnt finish takes skill & knowledge, so I think the barista needs more training but he was apologetic & eager to please, lovely guy.
