The ambience is lovely and quiet. Good for studying. There was a lady with me who was studying/finishing her business here.
The interior design is well made and very welcoming. I felt there is a part that had some lights but maybe they open them at night; though not sure if they were actual lights.
The colours selected makes it seem extravagant.
The waiter/barista is very friendly. He knows the menu and what’s off the menu*. He knows enough details about the food and drinks that are brought and he is transparent. This increases the trust between us and them; hence, it’s a good thing.
They have many special drinks. Specific to them, made by them, uniquely. There are various choice and weird options. I love their variety. One thing I hope is that they have other chocolate options rather than only Nutella because there were other drinks I was hoping to try, but the Nutella prevented me.
Eventually, I ordered:
Their bestseller, Escobar. Very delicious, well-blended. It’s not extremely heavy on the coffee nor in its sweetness. The cocoa powder, if mixed well, won’t feel strong and will just be part of its beauty.
I prefer drinking it without the straw to get the most out of it.
The waiter first brought it to me in a takeaway plastic cup, but happily switched it for me in a glass cup.
Kinder white chocolate: it tasted horrible. It felt there was extra powder or flour. I am not sure what it is exactly, but it didn’t feel creamy, or melting in my mouth. I wasn’t sure if I should continue eating it or not. The waiter told me not to pursue it and told me to get something else. I got Tiramisu.
Tiramisu: worse than the taste of the kinder white chocolate. I doubt their supplier offers good stuff. It’s creamy part is fine, below average. Their middle part, not sure what it is, is below below average. The cocoa on top, doesn’t have a taste. Nothing is working in this dish. Nothing makes me want to take another bite. It made me wish to leave.
*menu: their menu had new dishes. One of them was added only yesterday, it was kinder white chocolate. Hence, their menu wasn’t updated at the time of my presence. Also, there is another drink, strawberry chocolate (coffee?) that is new. One of the drinks was no longer available.
Nonetheless, it’s good the waiter/barista knew of the updates.
Apparently, I’m the first to try their Kinder White Chocolate dessert.
