I really enjoyed my stay here.

To check in you have to go a little way down Bailgate. Took us maybe 5 minutes to walk there. The lady that checked us in was absolutely lovely. She answered all of our questions and made sure we had everything we would need before we left.

Pemberton house itself definitely has a lot of character, from the beams, to the old style windows. Located at the top of steep hill there's loads to do in the immediate area. There are various shops, pubs, cafes and a museum/art gallery.

The house does have a lot of stairs, so we found it a little difficult (but not impossible) with a large pushchair.

The kitchen is on the top floor, and it's fitted with a cooker, fridge freezer, microwave and kettle. There are plates, glasses and cutlery for guests to use, as long as they wash them up. Next to the kitchen there is a toilet room and a shower room, both have a sink and mirror. There is also a communal sitting room on the top floor, with sofas and a TV.

I would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful old building very close to castle and cathedral. Spacious bedrooms, clean and comfortable. Comfortable beds. Very limited kitchen, only one toilet and one separate shower, not really enough for 8 people.

The rooms are good and spacious but the facilities are shared.
Fire alarm went off with steam out of the oven but was easily turned off and sorted.
Its in a lovely location near the historic parts of Lincoln which is great for visitors

It's a great stay, you feel like your in a part of history as it's an old Tudor building and it's near the Lincoln Cathedral, people there are lovely and you're near to loads of small quaint cafes

Lovely room but there is a shared bathroom and facilties. The ceilings are quite low too so watch your head!

Well, it is an outstanding experience! Think of spending a few nights in a medieval merchant's house: the building was almost 500 years old! Creepy yet enjoyable!

Excellent location.
Rooms ok. Toilet nxt to sink/kitchen!!
Budget rooms. Could be better,with better management and redesign????
