Poor customer service and workmanship.
After giving vehicle for four days in garage I waited almost 3 hrs to get the job done after reaching for vehicle collection.

I had taken my car to this workshop after an accident and it was under Oman Insurance - Sukoon. The mechanical work seems to be fine, but the paintwork is terrible. The paint job and polishing work were so bad that I had to take my car back to the workshop several times for corrections. In the end, they messed up the polishing. The paint coating was gone after the botched polishing, and I had to guide the polisher to the areas that needed work. Even after that, the part of the bumper where the coating had disappeared and the part where the paintwork was messed up remained the same, and the staff told me it had to be repainted again. When I informed the garage representative about this, he insisted they had done their "100%" and couldn't do anything more about it.
I asked another shop, and they informed me that it would cost me 300Dhs alone just to repaint the part where the coating was gone, and extra for the remaining parts.
If only they had done a good job, I wouldn't have to write this bad review. They received money from the insurance regardless of whether it was good or bad work.
It is the responsibility of the service advisor to hand over the vehicle in perfect condition after a thorough inspection, which, in my case, he clearly failed to do. The manager, Mr. Jitto, handled the case later on; he was friendly, helpful, and knows how to handle customers. But even still, I had to do all the follow-ups on a daily basis with the insurance regarding the approval, which was actually the duty of the service advisor assigned to the case. However, in the end, none could help me out with a good paint job.
Being one of the BIGGEST GARAGES in Sharjah, I expected at least a good paint job, which was the main reason I selected the garage myself. I didn't know their "100%" would be below average.
As customers, we trust that our vehicles will be returned in good condition when we give them for repair. Therefore, the management should train their staff well to ensure the vehicle is inspected thoroughly before handover and also ensure the quality of the work that customers expect.
Another reason for my low rating is that they caused minor damage to the front bumper lip which is brand new and cost around 3,000 Dhs. Additionally, I noticed that they left the car windows open while the vehicle was parked outside, resulting in a dusty interior.
My suggestion to others - The garage is good for mechanical works but horrible for getting a paint job done, and they seem careless in handling the car. So do think twice.
