They don’t care about your education. Sure, the teachers are nice but they cannot teach. There must be 2 out of all teachers which can properly teach in a way that the student can understand. The education does not meet the standards we expect from this school fees.
Teachers will take so long to teach and then rush through information when exams are near and say you need to learn all this by yourself I will not teach you.
What is more is that the school days are getting longer and it’s unhealthy. Other schools will end at 1-2pm but this school is ending close to 4pm. With around a 1hr drive back home, I can only get to studying by 6pm and that is not nearly enough time to study and also get an 8hr sleep and wake up at 5am to get ready.
I find it to be such a waste of time and it honestly hurts so much to say this because I loved going to this school so much. But the teachers are not good (only a few are good, bless them) and no one will listen to your concerns.
They will focus more on changing the school logo and adding a new system than putting the money into education. A lot of the school staff are ruining traditions by implementing this new system with new houses. I don’t see any need to have a form class with other students from different grades. What I do see is a need for better quality of education!
I have been separated with people my age and my friends due to being put in this new housing system. I don’t know why they think this will help.
I’m very sentimental towards this school and the environment is friendly but there’s no point if you’re not getting a proper education. I hope they change and improve.

for example I was supposed to take DT as an A level and they chose not to run it because they ‘can’t fund it’ yet they use their money on the aesthetic of the school and won’t fund the education. They told me that my choices are to either leave the school or change my whole career! and we mentioned to them about if I leave the school then my brothers leave too and we have been loyal to this school for years, all my siblings graduated from here and our response from SES was ‘okay then leave’
It shocks me how this school now cares more about the aesthetic than the actual education program for their students.
i am now stuck and don’t know what to do for A levels and it’s all because the school will not use their money effectively.
so disappointing
