Amazing little tearoom for an affordable lunch. Their cakes were so good, we had a chocolate-based tart with caramel, cream and fudge pieces. It’s very small inside so we couldn’t go in due to have a pram, but they have some seating outside which is nice to just people watch!

The cakes are as lush as they look from the outside. It was a real treat, and we got a chance to try a bit of everything from the lemon meringue to the coffee walnut cake, all accompanied by a nice tea.
They're quite filling and portions are big! Better open a big spot to make space for these.

It was worth the extra pennies for sure!
The place is super cozy inside, though people didn't seem very welcoming of a pair of youngins in the space, which was odd. Hahah.

Lovely patisserie with an excellent range of cakes. Ordered a fruit scone which was delicious! Cosy seating area upstairs with a great window seat! Will be returning during every visit to Whitby!

The cake sizes were huge. Great taste. The Lemon Drizzle cake was really moist and perfect. The Oreo chocolate cake, I got a lot of the topping. So, it was a bit too sweet. The shop is on two floors, a real vintage setting. The ladies at the till were really attentive and helped us choose our cakes. Would have really helped to have the names of the cakes under the display but you can always ask and they'd tell you what flavor it is.

This is a lovely little cafe , I would definitely recommend it, food and drink all excellent, worth the wait if there are no tables free when you visit..

Stopped for tea and cake. Wow! Make sure you're hungry as the cake slices are huge. Don't worry though, they supply boxes so you can take your leftovers away with you. All home made and for those that need it they cater for gluten intolerant people too. Very cosy inside or if warm enough there is seating outside. Well worth a visit

Friendly service. Has couple of tables outside on the pavement. Couple of tables downstairs. Loo is upstairs and the two main rooms are also upstairs. Good music choice playing (Madeleine Peroux). Homemade cakes. I had a pot of green tea and a rather yum minty cake. Good olde stylee decor. Would revisit.

Visited twice: first we sat outside people watching with a pot of tea and wonderful massive scones Then went back with friends to try their delicious cakes. Lovely place, we will be back.
