Fitting room is dirty, someone peed in one of the fitting room and they just covered it with tissue. Clothes are nice the quality is not so good

How many people go by this historic place without noticing it?

Popped over for a look after visiting River Lune, at The Crook, and so glad I did. Apparently a Norman Motte and Bailey castle, with original workings. Took the drone to get a proper perspective of shape, size and scale. Wow.

Park around the corner and access via slot in wall.

There is also a WWII pill box there, just to show that the site has been considered strategic throughout history.

Motte and Bailey clearly discernible. Easy access to latter but not former. Park in lay-by over Loyn Bridge.
