1st time visiting today and will definitely be returning. Bought large quiche lorraine, pork pie, pork & apple pie, sausage roll, 2 packs of cookies and a flap jack and still had change from £10. Everything was so fresh and absolutley delish. Will be trying the meat next time and so looking forward to it.

Excellent selection and quality, the price is very reasonable. The staff are very helpful and friendly. If there is a particular cut of meat you want they will sort it out. We do not go anywhere else. Their pies are superb.

Having searched widely for a good butcher in the area, this is where I shop as a matter of course.

Beef, lamb, and pork products are high quality and reasonably priced. Lamb are often from the proprietors own farm, and other livestock are sourced from local farmers.

If you can not see what you want on display, just ask. I often get particular cuts to order.

Their steak pies, made on the premises, are the best I have ever tasted.

THE BEST STEAK PIES !

Honestly, during my many fishing trips all around the beautiful North east area and trying as many steak pies as i could, over the last 3 years, these are the best....

Best, flavour, filling, pastry and gravy - loads of it.....
