An excellent tour. I learned so much from our tour guide Shawn. We did the Adventurer's Tour and the food at the end was absolutely incredible too. Great views and just a really well kept place in the Highlands. They also have a little bistro/coffee shop if you need one. Definitely worth a stop here!

Great distillery to visit, pretty unique that it is a new distillery where you have to wait another +-12 years before their first single malt will be available. We had a great tour thanks to our guide Mark who was willing to answer any question the group had and was very nice to talk to. We also had a great taste of their blended whisky's which are made to resemble the single malts that will be avialable later on. Definitely recommended.

We had a wonderful tour at the distillery. Thanks to our guide Mark! We liked the mix of the rich history coming together with the new building.

Especially loved that at the tasting I got a driver's package so that I didn't have to drink at the distillery but still got a taste of the cairn whiskey at our hotel! That way we had a safe drive to our hotel afterwards.

We spot the distillery from road, and decided to stop and see if they do tours. Luckily they did and even more lucky there were space available. During waiting for the tour we been invited to the restaurant and given coffee and scottish tables. Tour was absolutely amazing totally different to the ones we had before. Its very young distillery was great to see how modern they can be. 100% recommended to visit

Exceptional tour with a very knowledgeable tour guide, Mark, who really made the tour enjoyable answering every question we had. We enjoyed the finest feast of local delicacies, prior to the tour, in the restaurant. The staff could not have made us feel more welcome. Several platters of smoked fish, local sourced meats and vagetables, delicate and tasty flavours that excited the palate. The restaurant is tastefully decorated with a terrace overlooking the river Spey. It had been snowing that day and a hare ran by, an idyllic setting. The tour is fascinating both in the facilities and history of the family in aging and sourcing good malt. The building is stunning, the highlight being the tasting room at the top of the house; the panoramic views of the Cairngorms mesmerising. Although the Cairn malt is not available yet we tasted both a 12 & 18 year blends of local malts that echo what they hope the Cairn to mature to; we bought the 18 year old, it was just so good.
A fantastic afternoon, well worth a visit, so good to see the future of such a fine industry in front of us.

A very modern experience of an ancient art. Tucked nicely on the banks of the magnificent Spey river, with stunning views of Cairngorm mountain, this brand new operation has been created with a carbon conscience.
The distillery Tour is an informative high tech walk thru the history and production of our national drink.
The tasting is complemented by magnificent views of the Spey river and Cairngorm National Park while the ScottishTapas would challenge any equivalent dinning experience.
One constructive comment:- would have liked the opportunity to buy a branded item, a polo shirt say. A bigger, better stocked retail section would be a positive imho.

Very much enjoyed our tour here - a great overview of the history and production with a fine tasting session and lunch at the end, highly recommended!
